Ah yes, the timeless charm of stained carpets, broken tiles, eau de cigarette smoke in every room, and the thrill of wondering if tonight’s adventure will be the fire alarm or a police siren. Who needs modern amenities or safety when you can enjoy a retro horror movie set at half the price of sanity? Five stars—for comedy value only
We made the reservation about a week in advance, drove 12 hours from Chicago and arrived at 11pm, all of use were ready for rest.
We watched the receptionist check in someone using a card but when we got to the window, she told us “tap isn’t working” in a very rude tone.
We told her we had a reservation and she brushed it off with “I get that but I’m not taking card” even though we had watched her check in a man with a card just before us.
She told us we had to leave and that the hotel next door (Days Inn) had rooms.
Very unprofessional.
The Days Inn receptionist was very friendly and gave us a discount.
Room's AC was poorly maintained and very noisy. Kept hearing loud banging from it. Room itself smelled of smoke. At least the room had a microwave, refrigerator, and freezer, which was nice. The staff was also nice.
Staff is nice and very friendly, like to stay again prices are good per day. Breakfast availability they must added which is not available only coffee you have to make your own in your room which they provide you, rooms are nice and clean no bed bugs at all.
Terrible stay! The first room smelled like smoke so they switched my room. The second room, the door did not lock so they switched my room again. The third room the toilet handle didn’t work, and the fourth room had a toilet that didn't flush. I ended up leaving early and booked the rest of my trip at another hotel. The one positive was the manager apologized and credited me. But i wouldn't stay there ever again.
