I will say the only good experience was the staff. She worked with me on finding a new room when mine was covered in mold. Unfortunately the next room she put me in was covered as well. I told her I didn't want to stay anymore and she quickly reversed all the charges. I knew there was a mold issue throughout the entire place because of the industrial size dehumidifiers they were running in the lobby. It's just not an ideal solution and something better needs to be done to ensure the safety of their guests. There was only 1 elevator working, she made sure to make it clear we DO NOT try to use any other elevator, so that was a little sketchy and made me worry the only working elevator was about to go out as well. The second you leave the lobby and head towards rooms, there is a horrible smell throughout. Bad body odor mixed with mildew is how I would describe it. The carpets and walls of the hallways and elevator were pretty disgusting and the rooms that I tried were both heavily scented with mold and the air seemed very heavy. In just the 15 minutes it took for me to realize I needed to leave, I was dizzy and felt the air was almost too dense to be able to take a deep breath. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was such a relief to breathe in fresh air once we got back outside... my husband would say the same. It could have been an okay stay on a budget but it's not worth the health risk. Don't underestimate the hazards of breathing in black mold. Stay somewhere else.
