First of all, Hotels.com needs to advertise the final price with tax and parking. Little did I know until after the reservation was booked that $30 parking for an overnight stay wasn't included in the price. The Fairfield is okay. They were kind enough to comp. the parking fee since I was there because a family member had surgery. Rooms are pretty nice, however the comfort of the 2 double beds in the room we stayed in was awful. The mattress was extra firm, hard actually. I would say that it was just my age, but my 42 year old daughter also couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep well. I would have asked for a different room but it had been a very stressful day during my family member's surgery and we'd already gotten undressed and ready for bed. The heat/air system was so loud I finally turned it off and pulled up the covers. The room we were in was on the side of the building that faced Truist Bank, so lots of light came in even around the black out drapes. Also that side of the building had a lot of street noise from the traffic below. The best part of this stay was the breakfast the next morning.
