This property is cute with everything you need, within walking distance. The staff is friendly. The only downside is the lack of parking. It's valet only, and you were told to pull up in the front, to check in, however, there were cars parked there and we had to drive around the block, several times. It was raining when we arrived, so by the time you found a spot to get out and walk to the inn, you were soaked. Parking information was difficult to find on their website. I called the front desk to ask and was told parking was valet only, for $50 a night and you could self park on the street, but you couldn't park on the street at night. You could also find a parking garage and pay less money, but not all garages allowed for overnight parking and if it did, you had to walk a few blocks, which was fine, when it wasn't pouring rain. If you are from out of town, you don't know that parking is an issue. We liked the Planters Inn, but we wished the parking was better and our bed was worn out. As were the pillows. We wished we had a fridge and microwave. My husband has dietary issues and having the ability to go to the store and have food in the room, would have been nice.
Pros : Cute hotel and courtyard. Friendly staff. Walkable and quiet.
Cons: The parking. The bed and pillows needed to be replaced.
