The hotel is dated, needs refurbished inside and out. I would not recommend staying there again, one of my most disappointing experiences ever. The hotel is in a very nice location but I didn’t feel safe because of the number of people staying there looked, how can we say like very suspicious.

The room was dirtier than I expected, lamps weren't very good (in particular the outlets on the lamps were unreliable and flimsy), the bathroom had paint spots on the floors and patches on the walls. The room did the job but I wouldn't be keen on coming back unless I had to.

Not happy at La Quinta Inn

Faucet handle on shower came off, toilet handle loose, hard to flush, toilet kept running, husband kept taking lid off and fixing, BR door kept jamming, we took trash out every night and had to go to desk when we came in late in the evening to get new towels and toilet paper, half roll of toilet paper in room at check in. Room was never cleaned or bed wasn’t made.we were there to visit my sister who was in MUSC hospital who has been transferred to Hospice care today.The evening staff at the desk were very nice. It was a very stressful few days. We are both in our 70’s

Right after checking in as we were walking to our room there were two adults smoking pot in front of a child, about 8 years old. Then our key didn’t work so we had to switch rooms which we wanted anyway. And to top off the visit that was for my birthday I had two dresses stolen from my room. The hotel hasn’t done anything about it.

Don’t Stay Here

Despite making reservations 6 weeks in advance, my room was NOT ready when I arrived at 3:15 p.m.… it took about 30 additional minutes before it was available and the staff acted as though they could care less… the room was very disappointing in appearance and overall cleanliness… the mattresses were worn and visibly diveted.. the TV was not functional… and the hidden fees of $15 per day to park in the hotel parking lot was totally unacceptable… I will NEVER stay at this location again and I will strongly suggest to others that they stay away from this place.

Older hotel but clean and would stay again

This was a couples weekend getaway. The check in was great, the front desk clerk was friendly and worked quickly though my check-in. The hotel was clean, older with some updates that are obviously needed but we would stay here again. Beds were comfortable and there was a little traffic noise but this didnt last all night. We didnt use the pool and I only got coffee the next morning but the breakfast looked good. At check out the clerk was setting the housekeeping cards and never really acknowledged me, when he finished with the housekeeping staff, he looked up at me and asked if I was checking out and took my card and turned away. I would usually get a copy of my invoice, but I felt I would disturb him, so I just verified on my CC bill.
