This hotel has two buildings—one older and one newer. When booking a room, the hotel does not indicate which building the room will be located in. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room in the older building, facing a very busy road. I asked to be moved to the other side of the building, but the room they offered could not be opened, even though the key lock indicated it was available. I then requested a room in the newer building, but I was told it would cost an additional $22 per day. Since I had no other option, I agreed. Unfortunately, even in the newer building, the room door was tilted and difficult to open. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained. I previously had a good impression of La Quinta, but this location significantly changed my experience.

The eggs taste like mush. How hard would it be to actually cook some real eggs? I got a video of roaches in my room and hear all over the floor. I made a complaint and their only response was why didn’t you come to the desk and make a complaint before staying in the room? My question is why are you offering these dirty rooms to your guest?
