I made this booking thru Expedia 2 months before travelling. I was assigned room 501. Per custom we went to check the room out before bringing our luggage in. The floor of the shower stall was extremely dirty with mildew in much of tile grout and perimeter of the base. I cannot sleep in a room with this kind of dirt. At a minimum I'm looking for accommodation that is clean and safe. Staff was not understanding of issue and said they had no other rooms to assign. Hotel and Expedia have been unwilling to refund payment.
The location on King St. is great, the rooms are quiet and the staff is very friendly. I have the room a four star as our specific room had some issues: the outlet in our bathroom did not work, the toilet kept running, the bathroom door was falling off the hinge and we had to call maintenance to fix the a/c. This was my fourth time staying here and the only time I had an issue with the room.
Room was fine. Staff was nice. Valet was excellent. Breakfast food not good. Egg& cheese not warm, not good . Turkey bacon not good. Scrambled eggs were good but needed to be hotter. Coffee was good.
Enjoyed the fire pit.
We stayed here for a girls trip and had THE best time! The hotel is in a great location and easy to walk around. The staff was beyond friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Not to mention, our room was huge! Perfect for 4 gals!
