Cosy comfortable, peaceful retreat, 30 mins from Christchurch Airport
Relax and enjoy a cosy retreat with fantastic views to the Southern Alps. Surrounded by animals, trees and birds, perfect for a refresh after a long flight or before heading home. The kitchen is well equipped for your catering needs and the lounge is comfortable with tv, games and a work desk. The spacious bedroom has a lovely queen bed for the weary traveller. A sofa bed is available for extra guests on request. The paddocks often house cattle and we have two horses and a pony. Henry the labrador loves meeting new people and is often around. We are close to Christchurch, Mt Hutt ski fields, Lake Coleridge and the high country is about an hour away. Our local town of Darfield has supermarket, pub, restaurants, takeaways and numerous shops for all your needs.
