A beautiful apartment on the edge of the old town within easy walking distance of beaches, the old town itself, restaurants, and the main bus station – it was a perfect location to be based in.
The photographs on-line are a true reflection of the property.
It is located on a busy road so the balcony space isn’t as useable as it could be.
However, the double glazing the owner has installed is very good so there was never an issue of traffic noise generally or in the evenings when we wanted to sleep.
We had been to Chania before so we were aware of the location.
The owner, Tonia, was lovely (we met her on the day we left).
The welcoming fruit, snacks, pastries, nuts, wine, and a fridge full of essentials that she had prepared was more than we had hoped as was the lovely parting gift. It was all very much appreciated.
For those not used to Greece, remember to ask the host who welcomes you on behalf of the owner to explain the hot water system; we didn’t and it took us a bit of time to figure out late at night when we wanted hot water!
