A Great Place with Great Staff

The room was 4th floor, seaside view. There were two rooms, a kitchenette, and A/C. It was clean and looked good. Beds wwre comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The items available at the desk were a lifesaver - pool and beach items, water, beer, snacks, etc. The location is perfect - close to the main area but without the all night noise. You can get to the historic port easily and quicky walking long the ocean walk. The restaurants nearby are excellent.

Great stay, very close to beach

I really enjoyed my stay. It was off season in November but the check in was very easy, the bed and shower we’re great. It’s walking distance to every thing you’d want to do for food and bars.

Good choice

Nice and clean room with a view to the sea and friendly staff! The location is very good close to the sandy beach called "Nea Chora" and only 10-15 min. walking distance from the city center and the Old Venetian Harbor. The only drawback would probably be the lack of a second AC in the big bedroom/living room as one AC only (+1 big ventilation fan on the ceiling) cannot cover the whole area during the hot summer nights. Other than that, if you are looking for cheap accommodation in a good location, this is the place! I would definitely consider to stay there again for my future trips :)

Excellently located small hotel with kind staff

Lovely stay at Candia Hotel. The room was basic and clean with an updated bathroom and comfortable bed (even for a pregnant lady). The balcony was a big plus for drying bathing suits and sitting in the evening. Location was ideal for spending time at the beach away from the crowds of Old Town Chania. The owner Dimitra was very kind and helpful with finding a rental car and getting around.

A lovely room and a great view from the balcony. Double bed was quite small though and duvet even smaller. Metal head board and thin pillows meant it was quite uncomfortable reading in bed. Excellent service and very welcoming form hotel owner though and modern clean bathroom.

Ottimo hotel a Chania. Con una breve passeggiata si arriva in centro. Personale ok. Stanza e bagno ok. Colazione senza pretese ma realizzata con materie prime buone. Se non andate cercando roba di lusso, ma badate alla sostanza il posto fa per voi.

Fantastisk verdi for pengene

Har alt du trenger, med god seng, balkong og et fint bad. Et steinkast unna en fin strand med nydelig strandpromenade. Men samtidig rolig og stille beliggenhet. Veldig renslig, med rengjøringshjelp alle dagene bortsett fra søndag (virker det som). Veldig hyggelig og behjelpelig resepsjonist. Anbefaler absolutt å spørre hvis det er noe man lurer på angående hotellet, eller andre ting som severdigheter og reiseplanlegging. Billig, fint, rent og med en kanon beliggenhet. Absolutt å annbefale.
