A lovely place to stay in Catania. Really comfortable bed in a spacious room, nice breakfast. Orazio was a great host, absolutely kind and helpful, gave us a lot of tips and info about the city.

Great location - on the Via Etnea which is the main street. About 15 mins walk to the bus terminal. If you take bus from the airport you should get off at Feltrinelli bookstore and walk 5 mins north. The room is clean. The toilet is opposite to the room but it was used only by me so it is fine. Host is very friendly and is able to provide as much information as I need. The buffet breakfast was nice. I heard some noice in the morning from dining area and kitchen though not a big issue as the nights are quiet.

Stay here - it's lovely.

This is a beautiful property with such generous keepers. The space is truly remarkable with balconies and views of the garden and the volcano for everyone. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, high ceilings, wifi, and you're own bath (though, my bathroom was not connected to the room, just adjacent across the hallway - not a problem, just a Good To Know point). All rooms are not like this. The location is great, you can walk everywhere, and it's easily accessible to transportation to and from the airport. The neighborhood is safe and there's a great cafe right next door. Meeting the owner for the key was no hassle at all as there is no reception. I was met promptly upon the time I said I would be at the property. He was gracious, accommodating and gave great recommendations. His wife, also welcoming and charming. The daily breakfast is displayed so carefully, it was simple, yet beautiful the way it was arranged. I would recommend this B&B. It was clean, tranquil - warm.

A Beautiful B&B hotel

We stayed here for 10 nights while we explored Catania and the surrounding area. The hotel is about 15 mins walk from the main tourist area and is right on Via Etnea, the main shopping street in Catania. Just across the road are the botanical gardens. There are several good restaurants nearby, our favourite was Kokoro, a vegetarian restaurant which was just behind the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh baked cakes, cheeses, ham, bread and jam. Maria was very helpful with advice and booking trips etc.

A great family-run spot!

We had a lovely stay in Catania Bedda. Maria was very gracious and introduced us to her gorgeous little daughter, which was a real highlight! The room was clean and comfortable with a little balcony, although we didn't get much use out of it at the end of December. Location was perfect; right on Via Etnea. Breakfast was also great; Maria baked every morning and made a real effort. A really lovely stay!

Easy access to Catania

My experience with Bedda Bed & Breakfast was very positive. My room was tidy and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked efficiently which is a real plus for anyone not used to sleeping in heat/humidity. The room was quiet since it did not face the busy Via Etnea. Breakfast was continental with a small but varied selection; coffee was hot and Maria offered to make specialty coffee drinks, if desired. Be sure to try the cream of pistachio spread on bread or with your yogurt.

Clean and Bright, Comfortable Stay.

The apartment is lovely, clean and bright. Terrace is accessible from all rooms. Decor was thoughtful and pretty with nice design and not cluttered. We enjoyed our stay of eight nights very much. The neighborhood was nice, about a 15-20 minute walk to the center of Catania. There were several places to eat nearby, a market very close and we found (metered) parking to not be difficult to manage. There is also a parking garage that we could have used nearby but never needed.

Perfect location, Beautiful host

We stayed 3 nights at Catania Bedda and Breakfast and very much enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, clean, had lots of natural light and the bed was very comfortable. Maria was a wonderful host who gave us lots of helpful advice and prepared us delicious breakfasts everyday. On our last day we were surprised with a homemade chocolate fondant! A delicious treat. If you are visiting Catania, highly recommend staying here.

Great family run B&B in central location

The B&B has a very friendly atmosphere. Maria Grazia made us feel very comfortable and was very helpful with information on local places of interest, transport and the like. Bedda is very conveniently located on the main road running through the centre of Catania, opposite the luscious Botanical Gardens. Our room was very clean, towels were changed regularly and we benefitted from a small balcony. All in all, it made for a very good experience and we would definitely recommend it.

Hotel fairly close to the city center

Very pleasant experience. Maria, who runs the B&B, is a pleasant person and tries hard to make the stay comfortable for the guests. Outstanding breakfast offering a variety of bread, cheeses, and cold cut.

Oratio ist ein wirklich netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen, das Zimmer gut ausgestattet und hell. Unser Zimmer hatte das Bad auf dem Flur, es war jedoch nur für uns. Da der Flur nur von uns und Gästen eines weiteren Zimmers genutzt wurde, war das ok. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker. Oratio spricht Englisch und Deutsch. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.
