Luxury 3 bedroom golf villa with south facing terrace, private pool and stunning uninterrupted views over the fairways of Castro Marim golf course and the Guadiana river, the natural border between Portugal and Spain. The villa offers a superb standard of self-catering accommodation in a peaceful, picturesque setting, with the clubhouse and restaurant only 3 minutes walk away. The villa has 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms in each; 2 on the ground floor and a large master suite with private balcony on the first floor. There is WiFi access throughout the villa. The main living area is spacious and airy and has a fully equipped modern kitchen leading to an open plan dining and lounge area. The lounge area opens to a shaded patio overlooking the pool, with dining table, chairs and a BBQ, perfect for al-fresco dining. The pool terrace has sunbeds and a shower. It also has a lockable gate to ensure that young children cannot gain unsupervised access to the pool. The Villa is the perfect location for a golf or family holiday. The golfers can enjoy the three 9 hole courses that can be played in combination while those looking for a more relaxed holiday can lounge by the private pool. The communal pool and childrens play area is perfect for families, allowing children to make friends and take part in kiddie club activities. A bus is provided to the beach where one can relax and enjoy miles of sandy beach and unspoilt views. The resort's own beach restaurant, O Pescador - which means The Fisherman - is a great place to enjoy some freshly caught fish, for which Portugal is famous. Lovely villa

A great sized villa for 6 people. Lovely having an en-suite for each couple. Clean and tidy with a good range of kitchen equipment. We also made full use of the pool.

Another fabulous stay

The villa is in a quiet location which we loved. A car is essential to get out and about. While we didn’t play golf, we utilised the on site facilities and the staff at the bar & reception were very friendly. The nearby town of Vila Real is a lovely town which has managed to avoid mass tourism so far! We found the area very reasonable too.Overall I would highly recommend this villa & location.

Relaxing getaway

Another visit to Tom’s villa, relaxing as always. Glad my comment last year about the kettle has been taken on board, thanks Tom. Weather was great whilst we were there and made full use of the pool and gas BBQ.

Stayed for a week in the villa. Well equipped with good space. Resort was great, quiet yet close to a couple of local towns if you have a car and if you are a golfer the facilities are also good. Food was excellent in the clubhouse

Castro Marim Golfe

Have stayed here previously and we love it for its tranquility. Visits to Faro, Tavira, Vila Real de Sant Antonio, Alcoutim are all within easy reach. Sant Antonio has all the shops you will need and the staff in the clubhouse are wonderful

Holiday with friends

This is our third visit to Tom’s villa and still a pleasure to go there. The kitchen is fully equipped, only downside was the size of the kettle! Made full use of the patio and the swimming pool. We love the peaceful setting although a car is a must to appreciate the local area. Hope to visit again in the future.

Amazing place

What a property! Loved our stay and it had (almost) everything that was needed. Friendly staff at clubhouse and check in was a very easy experience. We were very lucky to be able to check in early. BBQ was there, kitchen was awesome. Bedrooms were great. Pool was sublime. Everything was great, seriously great. My golf game was not brilliant but not a problem of the course. Only thing missing (may have been there but couldn’t find) was the tools for the BBQ. Difficult to flip a burger with no flipper. Anyone looking for a relaxing golf break should look here. Quinto Da Vale course is just six minutes away and Monte Rai is just fifteen minutes away. Perfect base.

My family and I have travelled to Castro Marim Golf and Country Club annually for 18 years. We have rented many villas on the complex. We encountered one or two minor issues on arrival, which we reported to the villa owner Tom. They were treated like major issues. Tom’s response was immediate and effective. The same can’t be said for all landlords at CMG. We had a superb trip. The villa is spacious, clean and well equipped. Everything we expected. Very happy indeed. The pool is great, as is the golf. Spain and the beaches at Monte Gordo and Praia Verde are a short drive away. Thanks Tom.

GOLFERS PARADISE

Six average golfers from Wales playing Castro Marim for the first time since Covid19 lockdown. We had stayed three times before & were concerned that the golf courses, the clubhouse, the staff and mostly the accommodation would not be to the standard we remembered. Golf facilities were great and the villa was perfect. Loads of space, clean, all the facilities we could have wished for. Excellent pool, comfortable beds, air conditioning, etc, etc. We will be booking again when we can gather together enough balls to replace those lost around the course.

We love these villas!

First time we rented this villa, but everything went well and with no major issues and Tom was always responsive and attentive. It’s been a real pleasure staying here. We enjoy the locations, pool, size of the villa and the peacefulness of Castro Marim Golf. Fully recommend it.

Great Location

Lovely Villa for families

We stayed at Toms Villa for a short 5 day holiday in April and were pleasantly surprised with what we got. The villa was very clean, had all the utensils that you would require and the best thing about it was the size. Its perfect for a big family or even a few couples sharing as each double room (there were 3) had its own private bathroom. We had some decent weather in April and the kids loved utilising the large pool it has, we even managed to have a BBQ (there is a choice of a charcoal or a gas BBQ which was useful). Tom made sure that any request we had was managed swiftly, like having a food parcel available as we arrived very late in the evening, as well as beach towels and organising late check out. The Villa is located in a nice golf resort with beautiful views of the course from the pool area, very peaceful and was a short car ride down to local villages and beach front. All in all, a very satisfying holiday and would definitely recommend the villa for families as we had a great time. If there were anything I would do to improve the experience, would be to ideally leave a dishwasher tablet or two and/or washing powder for the washing machine but that’s me being very picky and definitely will not stop me going back!!. Thanks very much Tom.

Spacious and comfortable!!!
