Waterside Lodge is well-positioned to explore Lancashire and the Lake District National Park. Note: There are on-site facilities within walking distance, including a communal indoor swimming pool. In Lancashire, Tewitfield is a charming village located next to the Lancashire Canal. For beautiful views of the countryside and a stroll along the Tewitfield Canal Locks, which is perfect for adventurous walkers and cyclists. The community has a harbour where you can find barges and boats, and across the street is a great farm shop where you can buy fresh local products and see crafts being made. A restaurant serving conventional fare is located in the County Inn, Longlands Hotel. Enjoy some family time at Crazy Golf @ Greenlands while also exploring the neighbourhood. Pike Lake makes for a relaxing afternoon, and Cinderbarrow Miniature Railway is a short drive away.
