Lovely hotel but my experience with a member of staff at reception was not great. He was a little rude and dismissive when I sought to add an extra family member (16-yr-old) to the suite which sleeps 6. This was before the day of arrival. He refused to help as the booking was through Expedia. However, his colleague on the day of arrival was far more helpful and professional and sorted this out.

Guests have to pay extra to use the pool and sauna facilitates, this was not stated on the expedia website and one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. Check-in on expedia says 24hours but its actually from 4pm and check out is 11am, I arrived to check in late at 5pm and my room was still not ready. View from the room was terrible, window was facing the hotel hvac system. The price of the room was overinflated by over 100% because of a concert happening that day so overall it was not worth it.

We really liked this property. The bed was super comfortable. Location great although you cannot pull up outside. Breakfast was very good with attentive staff. In fact all staff we encountered were super friendly. The only negative for me was, like so many other hotels, the lighting was not great in the room making it difficult to do hair or makeup. Plus no shelf/dressing table area even though room was spacious. Would definitely stay again and happily recommend to others.

Hotel was very convenient for the principality stadium, two seconds walk. Rooms were lovely and spacious, beds were comfy and shower was really nice. Breakfast was ok, wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst and no one to greet You on the door so didn’t know what the process was. Front desk staff were lovely, they were willing to let us check in early as we had a concert to go to and wanted time to get ready, we ended up arriving after check in but they were happy for us to check out later after having a quick word. We didn’t use the facilities (hydro pool) as there was an extra charge which I think was about £40 for 90 mins. No parking near the hotel, we had To park in the John Lewis car park which was £30 for 24 hours and about a 7-10 min walk. Also you can’t pull up in front of the hotel as it’s a bus gate, obvs not the hotels fault but just something to be aware off. Surrounding area was a good location, right in the centre about a street away from all the clubs/ pubs so only a mins walk away but wasn’t loud inside the hotel which was good. Shopping on your doorstep, everything you need within walking distance. All in all lovely hotel and good choice if you’re going to the stadium / going out, I would stay there again.

Brilliant location near the train station and city centre. Great court yard for drinks etc. Concierge excellent with places to visit in the area. Staff were very attentive and professional. Lovely Elmis products in bathroom
