Never seen any staff. You had to call a number he left out and he said my keys were outside in the mailbox. Then we went to our room and when you opened the door it would fall down some. You would have to pick up the door and slam it to get it to close. No fitted sheet on the bed, they took a flat sheet and placed it over a dirt mattress. Then at 12:20 am the fire alarm goes off…still no staff or fire department. Never was there anyone at the front desk. To check out we had to call him. Will never stay here again!!!!

I received a call earlier in the day asking what time I would be arriving, i told him that I was not sure and asked was it a problem; the gentleman said no he was just checking. We arrived late around 9pm. Poor service, no one at check-in when we arrived, sign up for us to call a number for service! Gentleman came apologized said he was in the kitchen. I asked what were the hours for the continental breakfast in the morning and was told they do not do it during off season! This is not listed on the website! Walls are really thin I could hear the person snoring in the room next door, did not sleep well. When we left still no one at the front desk!

Parking was $5 a day which isn’t bad for a tourist area. Hotel was nice and short walk to the boardwalk . The room was very clean but I think housekeeping forgot to clean the bathroom. Quite messy. But overall a nice stay.

There was a cockroach infestation in the bathroom. We saw 4 of them and reported it to the desk. Lukewarm response that it would be taken care of.

Hotel was mediocre enough, but the room we stayed in likely had bed bugs as we noticed we had taken some back home with us after. We've tried to deduce where else they may have come from, but no other visited locations make sense.

The waves was a great place to stay for a couple of days-convenient to most walkable attractions and the beach. Staff was helpful and very cordial. We would stay again for sure!

Because of a convention being in town. All of the handicapped parking was used for hotel guests to sit in their lawn chairs and talk and eat. Lots of people congregated there making it extremely difficult to get to the front door. The staff really didn’t care. I left 2 days early because of parking difficulties. The girl at the desk promised she would call me back that day to let me know.After a few calls back and talking to various people who said they would call me back, still waiting. Terrible customer service by this hotel.
