Cape Disappointment Light House is located on the mouth of the Columbia River. It is accessible to the public from the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center by foot only. Approximately a kilometer hike from the parking lot that offers spectacular views of the mouth of the Columbia and the Pacific Ocean. It is near this point that Lewis and Clark first viewed the Pacific Ocean on their 1805 exploration.

Salt Hotel & Pub is centrally located in Ilwaco, a 1-minute walk from Port of Ilwaco and 11 minutes by foot from Cape Disappointment State Park.
A great value. Professionally maintained, clean, local, on the water. Coffee, tv, good bed, clean. Refrig, microwave. Can’t ask for anything more. Nothing fancy but completely functional and an easy stay. I will stay again.

Heidis Inn Ilwaco is centrally located in Ilwaco, a 5-minute walk from Cape Disappointment State Park and 7 minutes by foot from Port of Ilwaco.
The room was one of the cleanest that I have been in. Previous reviews mentioned this and my stay conformed it. Devin, the property manager was great.
