Breakfast was excellent! Staff really went above and beyond to keep everyone happy and comfortable - even with a huge camp bus staying overnight and overtaking the breakfast area for a chaotic hour. Staff stayed on top of it all! Rooms at least for dogs was squishy, not spacious but adequate for our 3 night stay. No windows if your dog barks when seeing people. Have to keep blinds down. Good privacy blinds but dogs can still see out so we were always in darkness when in the room:( Dog owners were not treated as well - always felt under investigation. Though my dog was tiny and we had a crate for when we went out, I never felt truly welcomed because of the dog. Have to sign a statement to be evicted at any time. Very different from when we stayed at a Wyndham and treated like royalty and fully welcomed. Dogs too! Area is great for dining, harbor and beaches.

The hotel is definitely dated and could use a refresh. The room was clean-ish but lots of dust which leads me to believe they do the bare minimum. After 2 nights we had asked for housekeeping to come in a tidy up- take the trash, vacuum(the floor needed it!), and refresh our towels. Desk said “ok you’re all set”, we were out the entire day came back after 8 pm to find they never came to our room. Highly upsetting that they could come do a basic refresh when asked (the sign at the desk says housekeeping available upon request).

We loved the ease and convenience to area restaurants and the Barnstable Dog Park. The breakfast was good with variety of hot and cold, but wished end time a bit later than 9:30AM.

Disappointed with the hotel, - the shower was not draining - carpet was disgusting - there was a musky smell - we had items go missing and we hope that we displacement them and nothing nefarious happened. - breakfast was clean and edible but not preferable. Over all would not return.

This property was dirty and did not have up to code conditions. The door frame was rusted and rotting so much so that the door frame did not even close properly. The lamps were corroding. We had to move out of the first room because the ceiling in the bathroom was literally falling in. So when they moved us I don't think they cleaned that room. There was human hair and dog hair all over . In addition they did not tell us that we had to request cleaning so they did not come the next day to clean and this was especially bad since they didn't clean it in the first place before we moved in. They take the handicap accessible rooms and use them as pet friendly because there's no carpet and because they're separate from the rest of the hotel. They ultimately you treat you as a second-class citizen because you have a pet. Even the grounds around the hotel were poorly kept. Even though it is so-called pet friendly I would never stay at the Best Western again. I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott which was also pet friendly and it was immaculate both outside and inside. It was also carpeted.

The man at the front desk was nice and helpful. However I had insect bites on my back and legs and it’s very painful. I couldn’t sleep. talked with the front desk person and she told me that she could not move me to another room. By the 4th day, I had severe swellings and I showed another front desk. She then moved me to another room. By then I had pain all day and night.

Nice place, nice people. Breakfast is great and tasty. Beds are comfortable, our room it was a little old but it was clean and they have a And I liked the music that plays at the reception, in the pool, really good.
