Nothing special. Not worth the premium over a travelodge. Breakfast was so chaotic I expected to see Basil and Manuel make an appearance. There were only 3 tables to serve too!!

Tired hotel room

Arrived slightly before check in time and unfortunately was not made welcome and felt that I was silly even asking if it was possible to check in slightly early it was only a question. But all staff after that were very polite and friendly especially the Bar staff very good at their job helpful and welcoming. Rooms very tiered blinds in need of a dust and general everything looked very tied. Real issue was shower it’s in a bath and the bath is shaped so impossible to really get under shower so you have to lean in not the best.

Room not great and bad breakfast experience

Our room (202) was unfortunately very poor. We checked in very late and so didn't really feel like we could complain as it was too late but the room had a number of issues. It was an accessible room which meant a wet room rather than a proper shower, but that shower was so low you couldn't actually use it unless you sat in the chair. The bathroom also smelt very bad. The room is next to the loft shaft which is very noisy and kept us up all night. Breakfast service was poor and we waited so long to even order we went down the street to Cote. The hotel is well located and yes, parking is an issue, but it's a short walk to one of the many public care parks.

Centrally located hotel with a nice bar which had live jazz music on Friday afternoons. The rooms seem fairly new in their decor and there was a nice comfortable bed. We were given the option of taking an accessible room as we booked very last minute and it was incredibly spacious and we didn't hear any noise. We didn't eat in the hotel.

Went to the abode for our first wedding anniversary. On check in, the guest in front of my wife received a much warmer welcome- they were also here for an anniversary. The woman on reception was less friendly to my wife- despite the hotel also knowing this was our anniversary weekend (added to booking). The hotel room was cosy, but the bath didn’t work as some numpty had installed the taps too close to the wall and the previous guests hair was on the bathroom floor !

Great city centre location. Lovely rooms, service and food (breakfast). The only drawback to the location being that it was very noisy at night - parties 2 doors down until 3am. But, no fault of the hotel. However, I would recommend the hotel otherwise.
