Beautiful setting.

Beautiful property on the Ohio river. We visited 2 state parks that are less than an hour away. We had a fire every night and enjoyed the barge traffic. Sunrise on the river was magical.

Sunrise over the Ohio River

The location of this house is absolutely perfect! Right on the Ohio River, each sunrise was different on the river and all of them breathtaking! Loved watching the barges pass from the rocking chairs or swing on the deck. Quiet location and not too far from beautiful hiking trails. The drives to the trails were also gorgeous. We would stay here again.

Getaway 2024

This was the perfect location. Quiet and remote. Watched barges go by. Got to see one riverboat. Several locals out in their boats. This was one of our favorite cabins. So relaxing. Great Stay

We had a great stay! The cabin is off the beaten path, but that’s what makes it so perfect! Very very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. Lots of room to spread out. About an hour drive to Holiday World. We saw lots of deer and turkey on our way to/from Holiday World.

Beautiful setting, lovely cabin. Nice touches through-out. Outstanding views

This cabin exceeded my expectations. The views were even better than pictures. Check in was easy. There were lots of nice touches. I was happy to see several fuzzy lap blankets because I forgot mine. There was plenty of seating in the living space on the main floor and in the walkout basement. The porch was relaxing with lots of nice places to sit, including a porch swing and rockers. We also had a fire ring where we roasted marshmallows. Nice comfortable chairs around the fire ring and a picnic table. We even found roasting sticks! We found corn hole boards and played a couple of games. Although we didn't need it, the gates for the stairs could make a family with young kids so much more secure. There is a boat dock just before the cabin. Had we known that, we would have loved to bring our boat. We have really only seen the Cincinnati River on the Ohio side. We have a whole different opinion of the river now. It was lovely and looked as nice as a lake. We watched barges and lots of pontoon and speed boats having the times of their lives. We came with enough food for the weekend, with no intentions of leaving until it was time to go. We were not disappointed. My friends saw my pictures and now they want to come back with us. Shout out to the owner. You have a lovely property.

Spent two nights with my 88 yo mother who once had a place on the river and has mentioned several times how much she enjoyed those days. She loved the cabin and especially the view. She spent most of her time on the deck. If you're looking for a peaceful vacation, this is it!

The property was beautiful. Very clean and well stocked. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the barges. Only sounds you hear are the birds singing. Due to the area, we could not always get phone reception. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
