The staff was wonderful! The room was truly lovely and the bed was comfortable but the noise of footsteps above… kept us up all night!!! No sleep for two nights was very disappointing. Not at all a good way to start each day!

Great room, amazing view and the restaurant was super good.
This is such a unique property, obviously well loved and tended by the people that work there. The inn itself contains a lot of history, we enjoyed reading about the history of the area. The staff were very helpful, like staying with family. The food is SO good, and compared to the usual you’ll find in the Canmore/Banff area it is a treat to get a well prepared meal. With so many larger and run of the mill properties out there we felt lucky to have found a hidden gem. And if you can secure room 301 there is a soaking tub to relieve those sore hiking muscles. One of our favorite places on our 2 week tour through the Rockies :)
Friendly, helpful, courteous staff throughout this hotel & restaurant. Charming ambiance, warm hospitality, comfy bed, great shower! The little added touches like armchairs facing the fireplace, and cookies, china teacups & teapot with a welcome note made our 2 day stay extra special. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!
Older boutique hotel. Very quaint and quite clean. Perfect for our 1 night stay.

Disliked: Amenities
Breakfast not included, the room fee is very pricey, close to 500 per night, it is very very expensive. Also terrible to pay this much without breakfast
Cute place but in need of some tlc. Mattress seems old and soft. Bathroom not especially clean. We left early and didn’t understand where to leave room keys. Cute bar and patio area. Overall not worth the expensive rate. Understand it’s a tourist spot and end of summer. Staff was friendly and helpful but would not stay here again.
We stayed in room 215 for 2 nights and it was very good.
But we returned to stay another night and was put in room 101. Room 101 location is bad if you don't like it noisy. You get all the noise from people traffic at at the front desk and the people coming and going to the restaurant and all people using the stairwell which goes over the room. I would suggest you ask for a different room if they want to put you in 101. Parking lot is tight especially if you have a larger vehicle.
