Clean room. The room service and the staff were collectively nice. The restaurant options were minimal. The buffet closed early all 3 nights which limited my experience when it came to the food. That was very upsetting. I also didn’t appreciate that I wasn’t told every night they would spray bug spray on the outside areas of the resort and it hovered over the balconies. It looked like smoke or fire and when I asked the staff, I got the runaround multiple times. Until finally I decided to go to the front desk and ask politely. The mosquitoes at night are definitely an issue. They didn’t advise guests to walk inside while spraying and I didn’t appreciate that. I was very concerned with the air quality I was breathing in. The beach club was nice but again the restaurant was closed and the staff made it difficult to accommodate any type of vegetarian meal.

The room was a very clean, such a beautiful view. The bartenders were amazing. I love the beach club that was included. I thought that was pretty cool. Didn’t have anything bad to say I wish it would’ve been more restaurant options because they do fill up fast.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Cancun was absolutely unforgettable! The resort offers a perfect mix of relaxation and fun, with a daily lineup of activities that kept us entertained from morning to night. From poker nights to pool and beach volleyball, aquaerobics, and lot more - there was never a dull moment. A huge shoutout to Orlando and Caesar, who led most of these activities with such enthusiasm and energy. They made every game feel like a party and created a welcoming, fun environment for all guests to join in. Whether we were playing volleyball or just chatting poolside, they made us feel like VIPs. The food was also outstanding, with plenty of variety and flavor - but Oshii, the Japanese restaurant, was by far my favorite with a beautiful rooftop view, My wife's favorite was Le Lys, the French restaurant. The flavors, presentation, and atmosphere were top-notch. Overall, this resort checks every box for an amazing vacation - fun activities, incredible staff, and delicious dining. We can't wait to come back!

The staff was VERY attentive, friendly and helpful during our stay. We were greeted with bag service, a refreshing drink, and a tour of the facility. At the time of our stay, the resort was only half opened so it felt a little small and limited. The resort has a minimalistic, boho style which I tend to appreciate, but it just wasn’t working for me here. The floors are bare concrete which can be nice, but it makes sleeping difficult when there are women clomping around the hallways in dress shoes late at night. I would hope some carpet is installed in the guest room hallways eventually, because being kept awake from hallway noise is annoying for guests who have early flights. Voices also carry MUCH more in bare hallways. I was a bit disappointed by the pool. I love me a good pool, but I found the style boring, and the texture was rough and unpleasant to sit on. The pool water invaded the hot tub turning it into a mini pool with jets. Again, the texture was rough in the hot tub so it was hard to get comfortable and relax. There is a rooftop pool and bar that is only accessible by paying extra. I considered paying for it, but after experiencing the main pool, I am glad I didn’t. The food was good. As a 40-something introvert, I found it hard to relax at this resort. It is high energy and probably meant for a different demographic. I’m sure for extroverts who seek fast paced music and parties during their vacations this place is wonderful! It just wasn’t our style.
