We stayed (Family of 4 - kids 8 and 13) March of 2025. I will start with the positives:
Resort is beautiful and well designed
It was clean and the rooms were large and the bathrooms were great.
The pools are great, we could always find a place for all 4 of us to sit and there are several pools to chose from.
Negatives (there are a few)
You need dining reservations to eat anywhere on property (which is fine as I had made all of our dining reservations prior to our arrival). You even need a reservation to eat at the buffet as well (just something to be aware of). Food was ok at best.
We had reservations at a different restaurant each night we were on property. Our last night on property we had reservations at Davino. We had email confirmation but when we arrived they didnt have the reservation. However, when the hostess went to get the restaurant manager because she couldnt find our reservation, he was very rude stating "he is the only person that makes reservations for his restaurant and that he didnt make this reservation and therefore would not honor it". Here we are a family of 4 (with an email confirmation of our reservation) and he says "sorry I didnt make that reservation so I dont know what to tell you" and then he turned us away to try and figure out dinner on our own. Check out was clunky (did it the night before we left but had to do it again in the morning). Over all - ok resort, just wont be coming back as there are better places to stay in cancun.
