It feels like you live in the shopping mall. The beach is practically non-existent. Very long resort, timeshare sellers attack you everywhere you go. No individuality decore, pools are cement puddles with limited animation ( activities get cancelled all the time). And Montezuma revenge awaiting you. Ice creams are good.

I would recommend this resort. I enjoyed myself at the poolside. We hung out at the adult pool on the south far end. No one hangout on the beach. The staff were great, no complaints on the staff. I was not able to get 1 hot shower. That was disappointing. Not to say there was not any hot water, because my husband did get 2 hot showers but that was all. The buffet was great, better than some restaurants. I would go back. LOVE the fact that every room is oceanfront ❤️. If you go without children stay on the south side. All the activities for the children are on the North side. We didn’t run into many children. Maybe it was the time we went. Give it a try. They will try to get you to buy into their resorts. They will tell you it’s not timeshare and it’s not but they definitely will try to have you buy. Don’t fall for the first price, they will come way down. If you like to travel (who don’t) then it’s not a bad thing. As long as it’s in you budget.

Absolutely an amazing resort, the resort is hugeee a lot of walking but that is a plus especially with all the food you’ll be eating. The resort has a golf cart service that takes you from one end of the resort to another if you don’t feel like walking. But I legit have no complaints about this place everyone was so nice and caring and I would most definitely stay here again. There’s soo much to do on the resort and so many different activities

From the moment I arrived at Ava Resort, I knew I was in for something special. The resort itself is a perfect blend of modern luxury and authentic Mexican charm. My room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and featured a breathtaking view of the turquoise sea. Every detail—from the plush bedding to the fully stocked mini-bar—was thoughtfully curated for comfort and relaxation. What truly sets Ava Resort apart, however, is the service. The staff went above and beyond at every turn, always greeting me with a smile and offering help before I even had to ask. Whether I was lounging by the infinity pool, dining at one of the world-class restaurants, or enjoying a massage at the spa, I felt genuinely cared for. The dining options were nothing short of exceptional. From fresh seafood to gourmet international dishes, every meal was a culinary delight. I particularly loved the beachfront dinners with live music and the creative cocktails served at the rooftop bar. Ava Resort also offers a great balance of activity and tranquility. This resort is nice, However we had to switch to 5 different rooms, and each room had SPIDERS in the bed and bathroom. I spoke with a manager to receive some of my money back and they gave me the complete run around. I was moved to a suite which also had spiders. Upon checking out i ask to speak with manager again to see what was the update on my refund for some of my stay. i was told no manager was on duty which is ironic. Also when you arrive you are greeted by timeshare people. We could not book excursions directly through the hotel, the timeshare person would be called and harass us to sit in a 90min conference. Our trip could have been so much better if management took our concerns more serious . I was bitten and totally creeped out, but no accountability was taking by this resort.

Property is impressive is big and modern but the food was terrible no variety at all like the first day not fruit or ham at breakfast 😖tastess the portions are really small ,prepare yourself to WALK you feet are gonna hurt also the pillows are to big and hard i do not recommend it
