It was very relaxing. I came here mostly because of the price. It’s a place I will come back too. It’s a bit out of town but thats all. No problem if you have a vehicle.

This hotel may not be flashy, but it gets the important things absolutely right. It's clean, comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay easy—even arranging a smooth check-in after midnight when we were delayed. Noise was minimal during our stay (just the occasional footsteps from above), and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. If you're looking for a friendly, affordable place to rest while you explore Vancouver Island, this is it. We'd happily stay here again.

Ocean Resort is NOT a resort. They don’t even have food on the premises. On checkin the person at reception was ok, the room was clean. The motel is infront of the ocean. On check out there was no one.

We loved the big expanse of lawn and chairs by the beach, as well as the ocean so close. The room was small and basic but clean. The secondary highway runs right beside the property so spending time on our room’s patio was noisy. The staff was friendly and competent.

La nostra stanza aveva una vista stupenda sul giardino e sull'oceano e la possibilità di raggiungere la bellissima spiaggia a piedi in 2 minuti!!! È possibile usufruire del caffè e di uno spazio per prepararsi una colazione semplice. Sarebbe bello avere la possibilità di acquistare la colazione sul posto anche perché non ci sono altre opzioni vicine.

small issue with check-in and a room that got missed in the cleaning that day, but it was rectified right away with a new room things happen, and nobody's perfect they were very apologetic and made it right, onward and upward i like that the room floors are solid and not carpet, the room had a really good-sized fridge/freezer, murphy bed, desk, small dining table w/2 chairs, and space for hanging clothes bathroom was basic and clean, good water pressure in the shower, and i liked the full gamut of options in the shower's wall-mounted dispenser front desk & cleaning staff were all super, look where they live! nobody escapes the island, mostly because they don't want to happy trails!

The staff was friendly and the hotel has a relaxing laid back ambiance. Unfortunately, throughout the night the pipes moaned after each toilet flush and there was a very loud screeching that started up over half a dozen times. So loud we couldn't sleep. Don't put anyone one in room 217 until this is fixed!

Upon arrival, our room was freezing cold. We asked if we could change rooms because it was so cold(61 degrees F-16 degrees C.) We were told to change to an ocean view room was $40 more. I said our room was freezing to which the man said roomkeeping must have set it there. So I once again asked and he said, “Whatever.” Our room never warmed up until 4 am and it stayed at 69 degrees F.(20 degrees C.) until we left. We will not go back.
