My room was cancelled and then we didn't get the room I booked but paid the same, no coffee machine in room but coffee, microwave and toaster in lobby. Lovely sitting area to relax with games and books. Beautiful view with beach access. Gas Fire pit lit nightly. Close but not to close to cities or towns.

This is a lovely and comfortable place. The hotels.com description is inaccurate. The microwave, coffee and dishes are communal, in the lobby. No coffee grinder or stove tops. Some rooms do have kitchenettes, but not the double bed rooms or the standard queen ocean view room that we had. However our room was very nice, with good bathroom amenities with extras like cosmetic pads, swabs, makeup remover cloths. Good bed amd nice table and chairs. Not exactly what we expected, but very good. Recommended. We would stay there again.

no air conditioning in our unit ,lower level patio walkout great to large grassy area and beach.only one outside chair available . coffee availble in lobby not in room. sort of cross between hotel and hostel. friendly helpful check in. laid back atmosphere. family and pet friendly.

The only thing I can comment on is their service because we ended up not staying there. The only reason we were staying in a hotel is because we can no longer master stairs every time we go in & out of our adult childrens' homes. When we got to the hotel, I found out that they don't have an elevator. My husband came in from the car to have a look & there was no way we could stay there. They said they wouldn refund our money since they couldn't accommodate us. However, that left us without a place to stay for 5 days. The gal at the front desk then said she would call another hotel to see if they could take us. Although they were more expensive, they agreed to let us stay there for the same price as Ocean Resort. The only thing is that we would stay in one room for 3 days & then, we would have to move down one floor for the last two days, so we agreed to that. To our surprise, when we got to the room, it was actually a one bedroom suite, with a full kitchenette, a balcony & an ocean view!! When we moved down one floor, we knew we were moving into a king-size bedroom, but it was a suite as well!! We are so grateful that the gal at Ocean Resort took such good care of us. Thank you so much!!
