Why is the sunset side of Camden so important? For the evening sunsets! You are literally not prepared for these colorful sunsets over the lake.

Why are a lake's coves important? Way less noise, less traffic, less boats, easy swimming, safety, more birdlife and quieter, calmer water. The coves are sought after. Pro Tip: Savvy lake renters know to seek out the coves!

Fully remodeled 2/1 cottage with a huge deck on an acre (new floors, appliances and a Chip n' Joanna approved kitchen) with a huge, oversized deck
(covered and uncovered) and big level yard for play!

Need a fire pit and gas grill? We got you! Need a kayak and paddleboard? We got you! Need a fully-stocked kitchen, Washer/Dryer and WiFi for Streaming? We got you!

Our lake is typically a beach-entry type lake. We also overlook one of Wateree's islands, are in a cove and no, there are no alligators this far north (Floridians always ask).

LOCATION: Located in Camden, SC on beautiful Lake Wateree (less than 1/2 mile to Clearwater Marina whose address is 2029 Baron Dekalb Rd, Camden SC for our roundabout location). Only 12 minutes to downtown Camden, to Wal-Mart, Starbucks & Chic-fil-a! The Charlotte airport is 1.5 hours and Columbia, SC is only 45 minutes away. Also, less than 5 minutes to a Dollar General (a very good one) that will have what you forgot! Yes, we have upscale restaurants nearby and yes we are near the South Carolina Equine Park facility in Camden and HOTH Ranch (their visitors stay with us often!)

2 bedrooms (queen master & full + trundle guest bedroom) and a full bathroom! We sleep 4 very comfortably and allow up to 5 guests.

Huge deck overlooking the lake. Easy road access, boat ramp is only a driveway over and room for your trailer. Shared dock for your boat (we have three docks, sharing is rarely an issue).
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private balcony. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Very comfortable, clean, nice view. Only wish was some kind of seating down at the lake without having to haul chairs. 100 yards to the water. Private dock would make this place perfect.

Great week at the lake

It was HOT but thankfully the air conditioning was cool! Had a great time relaxing and fishing early in the morning. Spent the week relaxing and enjoying the views. Second stay here and it was great.

Peaceful, calm and quiet

This is the perfect property. Tucked back a few yards from the shore, but the views are magnificent! Putting the boat in right next to the house and docking right in front of the house was wonderful. No loud neighbors, no noise, just a quiet getaway. Will be back.

We were in town for a fishing tournament, this was so convenient to landing and had plenty of on site parking for boat! Our friends rented home next door and this was a perfect spot for us! The washer/dryer in rental was nice, the ceiling fans throughout was nice and we loved all the updates in home! We hope to return one day

Beautiful Lake Wateree house!

The property was wonderful!!! The view was amazing of the lake. We enjoyed relaxing on the large covered porch which over looked the lake. Quiet peaceful setting. The house was very comfortable and quaint. We will be back!

Great little spot for a getaway

Everything was great. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck and dock. The community landing was perfect for my boat. Very convenient to Camden if you need to make a quick trip to town. Communication was great and the property is very well maintained. Will definitely be back.

3 day weekend trip

Great little house about 100 yrs from the lake. Able to dock the boat and come and go all day. Clean, modern and comfortable. Wonderful full windows with lake views and a great wrap around porch with rocking chairs, table and loungers. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Will be back!

VRBO Screwed US - BUYER BEWARE

Stranded with no accommodations 500 miles from home with a dog in a city with large events happening. Our reservation was cancelled 1 hour from check-in with an explanation that the property was double booked. VRBO failed to respond to 2 escalated chat sessions. No assistance was provided by VRBO or the host to find us comparable accommodations. Will be escalating this situation to my attorney and social media.
