Fully Air Conditioned 4 double Bedroom Family Villa with Swimming Pool / Gardens

Villa Suro is a spacious property with secure garden which is ideally suited to family groups perhaps consisting of two families with a total of 8 persons (one additional child only to total of 9 persons).

It has a well maintained 8 x 4 metre swimming pool and surrounding patio area with a secure parking and enjoys fine views of the Mediterranean Sea, local vineyards, the beautiful Les Gavarres Hills and surrounding countryside.It is situated in a semi rural quiet location on a recently fully refurbished urbanisation with now has new roads and pavements throughout.

It is easy walking distance into the medieval centre of Calonge and is just 4kms (10 minutes drive) to nearest beaches at Sant Antoni de Calonge.

There is a included free powerful Wifi system within the property.

The interior open plan living area design is spacious.

The bathroom and wet room is modern and fully tiled with modern Roca bathware.

Each bedroom is fully air conditioned.

The kitchen and dining area is fully equipped for self catering within the house or alfresco dining on the roof terrace or around the table and seating around the BBQ area. There are amazing views of the beautiful surroundings from the roof terrace or from the first floor outside balcony of the main building accessed via the open plan living area. Also brilliant for star gazing on a clear night.

Palamos and Torre Valentino in just 10 to 15 minutes drive. Slightly further at around 20 minutes drive is La Fosca (our favourite), Platja D' Aro, S'Agarro and Sant Felieu.

As you can see there are numerous spaces to spend quiet periods or to join in the main group fun as suits your mood. All of the beautiful scenery

The swimming pool / patio area is gated for safety of small children and the pool is entered by corner roman steps. The pool is 8 x 4 meters size and is 1 metre deep at one end and 2 metres at the other. There is ample lighting around the pool for late evenings as required.

The gardens with palm trees ,large lemon tree, various other plants and pool are well maintained throughout the year.

The villa has undergone a complete internal modernisation in recent years including bathrooms, bedrooms, a spacious modern open plan living area with a well equipped kitchen and dining area with a fully fitted kitchen complete with granite worktops, Miele Oven, halogen hob, Bosch dishwasher, large family sized Bosch fridge/freezer and washing machine.

All windows and doors are aluminium double glazing. The window frames have retractable mosquito nets fitted in bedrooms and bathroom. The windows are also tilt and turn. The doors have high security locks fitted.

The property is fully air conditioned for those hot summer months in the living space. All four bedrooms were fitted with new Daikin air conditioning in April 2023 which are very energy efficient, quiet and effective.

There is a fully monitored Securitas alarm fitted for peace of mind. It should be noted this is a low crime area.

We have been renting through Homeaway and now VRBO (on takeover) since 2007 and consistently receiving a total of 43 very favourable reviews from clients over the period 2007 to present with an average of 4.8 out of 5 stars. This tends to suggest Villa Suro has been tried and tested by previous clients and found to be a great place to enjoy your family holidays. We also have a number of repeat bookings. The whole area really is beautiful and friendly. Please read reviews section on this platform.

There are coastal walks throughout the whole area. The vibrant family friendly and wonderful town of Palamos is just 15 minutes drive from us with its charming old town, beaches, fish restaurants and tapas bars.

The nearest supermarket is 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car.

The medieval town of Calonge with castle and town square with a few bars and eating places is 15 minutes walk from us. There are established hiking and cycle routes from Calonge. Cycle hire is also possible.

Girona is around 30 minutes drive and we are just 120kms from fabulous Barcelona. Both locations are steeped in history and culture.

The area is very popular with national and road cycling routes. We have garage facilities to keep securely all cycles and golf equipment.

There are several good quality golf courses within 40 minutes drive of the villa. The nearest being Club Golf D'Aro Mas Nou which is 15 minutes drive. PGA Catalunya, Girona at 30 minutes drive.
