The shopping mall area around the hotel was really nice. It made it a great feature after eating breakfast or dinner. I used the gym too, it’s small but very convenient and the view from the terrace where the gym is nice too. The entire staff was amazing. I am American and I believe just about everyone spoke at least basic English to help me when I had a question. I will definitely stay here again. This is probably one of the top 3 hotels I’ve stayed in ever. The place is amazing.

There aren't enough machines in the gym — the few that are there are either broken or very old. In our room, there was no hot water; we reported it, and the hotel said it was normal, but the water was cold.

The hotel is just okay, but definitely feels overpriced for what it offers. The rooms haven’t been updated in years and show signs of wear, like misaligned closet doors. Overall, it needs better maintenance and some renovations to match the rates they charge. Chipichape Mall is what a made this Hotel a plus but other than that it is an overpriced hotel.
