The room smelled, the bathroom was poorly maintained (specifically the tub and shower head). The 4th floor common area was freezing cold as the emergency door had a huge hole in the bottom. The elevator doors were not closing properly and the 4th floor button light didn't work so you could never tell if it was working. The parking lot wasn't even sanded and was very slippery and the lobby area looked poorly maintained. The fact that it was independently owned and being ran into the ground was not disclosed ahead of time and I will not be trusting ratings done from expedia ever again after this experience as it was rated way higher than it should have been.

Super 8 by the airport it is quite basic low complementary stuff. Around the entire hotel Better stay at super 8 close to downtown. The services are basic at super 8 by the airport they offer breakfast however it just bread coffee tea apples and machine that dispenser water full of sugar ( oh i think it is call juice?) At the room it iis just a couple big bottles of one for shampoo and other for body wash no microwave on room , so yeah that you get from 100 bucks but the same hotee at the downtown offers better breakfast , microwave o. The room pool and gym. For the same price

The room was clean and the staff were helpful. It is not far from the Peter Lougheed Hospital if you are needing a place to stay! I would recommend staying here!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. We were in Calgary got my son's surgery at PLC, and the hotel was a quick 5-minute drive to the hospital with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.

Staff was wonderful! Reasonably priced, clean, appointed with all necessities, breakfast provided choice and convenience, location and shopping great and parking plentiful. Shows some wear and tear in that the elevator was a bit sketchy and the key cards needed resetting twice, but staff were happy to assist with all requests and solutions. All in all.... A little gem of a place, tucked away behind the others, with great staff and comfortable, reasonably priced accommodations. Will stay here again as great for budget travel. .
