I booked this because it had a hot tub and pool. The hot tub was shut down though when we arrived and prob has been for awhile. A notice on their site would have been nice. The place is old and worn down and dirty and you can hear a lot forn neighbouring rooms. Sketchy area too.

Seedy doesn’t begin to describe Metro Inn

The room had much damage. There were no hangers. When I asked for hangers, the Mgr gave me one hanger and said that was the limit per room. The room was too hot for sleeping. The Mgr said they had turned the heat off in the entire building. He admitted my room was hot, but had no solution. He said use the air conditioner. It was too noisy for sleep and blasted directly at the bed. The window was bolted shut. I had to sleep with the door open—unsafe. Three days later, a different Mgr said someone forgot to turn the building heat off. The paint over the wallpaper in the bathroom is worn through. Holes in curtains, walls and bathroom door. Worn, chipped furniture. No drain plugs in the sink or bath. There was an ironing board, but no iron. No grocery stores anywhere nearby. No snacks or coffee service in the lobby. At least there was decent internet. Best fate for Metro Inn: Tear it down. However, the staff were very nice and tried to be helpful, except for the hot room.

Booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2 as it was so dirty and dilapidated. Bathroom - broken floor tiles, damaged door, tap rusty and leaking, bath sealant disgusting. Coffee maker old and not clean. Fridge froze our water bottle. Dirty behind bed - crisps and condom packet! Bed linen had stains but did look laundered. We chose not to complain as we thought we might not get our deposit back. Staff were just ok. We had one bath towel so had to ask for another as there were two us. Curtains (with holes) were taped with black tape. Window ledge had broken glass in it. There was two bare wires sticking out from the side of the mirror and it was screwed to the wall with a screw sticking out 5cm just at calf height which was dangerous. There was no smoke/fire alarm in the room but not sure if that’s a legal requirement here. Only part of the pool was available to use. All in all I’d say this “hotel” needs closed and a serious renovation and Expedia shouldn’t list it.

Don’t book this hotel

It’s really bad experience staying in this hotel. The room next to my room living a sexual worker, and the lady are yelling so loud, from 8pm to 11:30pm it didn’t stoped , every 30 or 44 minutes, she took shower and then yelling, you can hear it clearly from your room. I would gave negative star if it allows. Never come to this hotel again.

The property is very rundown. Was a Ramada probably recently purchased because signage hasn’t been changed yet. Outside door didn’t work, room had a very bad smell. Was decently clean room and comfortable bed. Wouldn’t stay again until they did some work to property.
