This hotel saved us after having an Airbnb cancel us the day of our arrival at a convention where all hotels in the area were sold out for the week. Days Inn Calgary South was able to provide us a room for the week at a reasonable rate given the sold out conditions for an international conference in town. The room was clean and very quiet. The fact that there was a restaurant onsite was a real bonus. The included continental breakfast was very good. Also this hotel was only 2 blocks from the tram which took us directly to the convention site. All in all, this hotel saved our trip to Calgary. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

The ceiling fall off while i am in line for check in like im 1 meter away.good thing no one was in that spot. The hotel is old.i cant believe that there is only 1 elevator for the whole building.so its 5-10mins waiting time to use the elevator.for a price of 300plus a day ,no way im going back.this "hotel" should be a 1 star only

Elevator was out of service so had to carry up luggage, hallway was very hot . Wanted to eat in hotel restaurant but it was closed when we went down. That should be posted on site that restaurant is closed Mondays. I also think because I booked with Expedia and got a good rate we were put in the old part of the hotel, didn’t see anyone else on old side.

The hotel itself was a bit dated but still very clean and well taken care of. The pool had the perfect temperature, the hot tub was warm and it was a large well lit space. The only disappointment was the elevator to our first floor room was not working. It seems to be a separate elevator for the other few floors. It was definitely challenging to haul our luggages up the large flight of stairs. The room was clean and spacious as we booked a double bedroom suite. We appreciated the use of an additional sink, larger mini fridge and microwave. The check in staff were very welcoming and accommodating. There was additional parking on a lower level and accessible through the ground floor. The continental breakfast was great and there was a good selection to choose from.
