An amazing location in the middle of a nature preserve.On one side is the historic Las Salines (the salt collecting locks) and on the otherside a natural beach with beautiful undisturbed mature trees. At sunset the view from the balcony is one of the best I have ever seen. If you want a less unobstructed view you can walk down to the back gate and see forever. I like beach preservation and true natural beauty so for me the birds, the trees, and rustling leaves mixing with waves beats any cookie-cutter constructed resort view. A short walk down the road takes you to a lighthouse overlooking one of the best small bays I have ever seen. Walk up the road and there is an observation tower with a great view. If you enjoy nature, peace, and locals with quick access to Nature Preserves, or the more tourist filled Combate Beach with all the resturants and great food this is the place.

AC is only in the bedrooms and only one TV which was in the living room with no AC. A really bad sulfur smell. The pool had not been scrubbed the walls were coated with Algie. No backup generator and the lights went out for 3 days with no lanterns of flashlight had to cut the stay short and was not even offered a discount. All communication with the host was done through texting.

Playas Del Caribe Boquerón

During our stay in Boqueron, we found the place quite comfortable. However, it's important to note that the balcony didn't offer a full ocean view due to the trees on the property blocking the ocean view. Additionally, the provided directions were not entirely accurate, but after asking for help, we were able to locate Playas Del Caribe by searching for Bahia Salina instead, which successfully guided us to our destination. Furthermore, the pool was not well-maintained, as it appeared dirty and with green residue along the tiles and some missing tiles along the pool wall, which was disappointing. However, the unit itself was well-maintained.

The apartment was well kept and clean. However, there was no view to the ocean. The trees covered the ocean view. The property pool was dirty, it was not well kept at all. While sitting out in the porch there were lots of mosquitoes.. it was nothing I expected. We were very disappointed

Great location! Very clean and comfortable.

We loved this property. We had trouble getting into the lockbox to retrieve the gate opener however the owner quickly responded/called with assistance. We made good use of the provide beach chairs and towels as we plowed the amazing beaches nearby. The property is secure, quiet with a nice pool. My kids loved it. We would stay again!
