Nestled in the picturesque town of Burnsville, North Carolina, beautiful Mountain Sunsets Lodge offers an idyllic retreat surrounded by nature's splendor. As the sun sets over the majestic mountains, you'll be treated to a breathtaking view that paints the sky with hues of orange and pink, creating a serene and unforgettable ambiance.

The lodge features a spacious deck equipped with a barbecue grill and comfortable outdoor seating, perfect for dining al fresco or simply relaxing and soaking in the stunning scenery. With four beautifully appointed bedrooms and 3 1/2 luxurious bathrooms, this home provides ample space and comfort for up to 12 guests. Fine linens and plush bedding ensure a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure.

The state-of-the-art kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and everything you need to prepare delicious meals. For entertainment, the lodge boasts a large game room complete with skeeball, a Wii console, an arcade unit, karaoke, surround sound, and a 75-inch smart TV, providing endless fun for guests of all ages.

Outside, gather around the gas fire pit on the deck or enjoy the outdoor pavilion with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. The expansive grounds offer plenty of space to play football, pickleball, badminton, corn hole, and basketball, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to engage in their favorite activities.

Located close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and all the area’s attractions, and just an hour's drive to Asheville, NC, our mountain lodge provides the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. Please Note: There is a wood burning fireplace in the main living room for guest use as well as a gas burning fireplace / stove by the kitchen.

PLEASE NOTE: Guest have access to walk down to the pond and theres at least a half mile of walking trails on the property, some that go down by the river. Guest have full access to all of this. However, you must walk the property at your own risk. PVR nor the homeowners are liable for any injuries. (Please watch your children when by the pond and the river).

****About our Cabins****

You are reserving a luxury vacation cabin with Pristine Vacation Rentals, the top vacation rental company in the area with 100% customer satisfaction and five star reviews across the board from VRBO, Flipkey etc…A few days prior to your arrival you will receive the cabins address, check-in/check-out instructions, door entry codes, wifi codes, house and property information as well as local suggestions of things to experience. If you reserved the property directly from our website you will receive this information in an email. If reserved the property through a third party platform such as VRBO, Flip Key, etc... They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves.

GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS!

Also feel free to use any of the spices, sugar, creamers etc… that are generally stocked in the fully equipped kitchen.


This is a SMOKE FREE environment! Please don't smoke in the cabin. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts.

PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains.

CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies.

SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired.

FIRES: Guests are welcome to use the fire pit year-round. However, we do not provide firewood. You can purchase this at many of the local convenience stations, local grocery stores or Walmart. It's generally around $5 per bundle.

NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
