In diesem Ort ist nicht los! Kein Bäcker, kein Lebensmittelgeschäft, ein reines Wohndorf! Kein Zugang zum Dollart! Ausnahme ist ein Schuhladen. betrieben von einer betagten freundlichen Dame, die den Laden aufgeben wird! Zu kaufen gibt es dort nur noch Altbestände! Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hatte Empfehlungen parat!Das Haus war zweckmäßig ausgestattet und sauber!Für einen Ausflug kann man Leer sehr empfehlen! Radfahrer können von Ditzum mit der Fähre nach Petkum übersetzen und weiter nach Emden fahren!! Im Hafen Ditzum gibt es mehrere Speiselokale!
