The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious and nicely decorated! The inner yard of the hotel gives a cozy feeling. The staff is friendly. The location is great. On the other hand, there are 2 main defaults: - our room had both a shower and a bathtub, the shower was big and with nice tiles but it was impossible to be used due to the fact that the fixed head shower had limescale. As a result the water was pouring in all directions. On the top of that , there were steady bottles of shower gel and shampoo only in the part of the shower while in the bathtub there was no shower gel. Finally, the breakfast for this category and this price was rather poor. It starts at 7 and finish at 9! For a vacation and not a business hotel, these hours are rather inconvenient.

Our room was spotless and completely modern with a great rainfall shower. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel was built around an old Jewish merchant’s home that was utilized as the dining room. It was beautifully restored. Breakfast was delicious. Easily the best hotel we stayed in during our trip across the Stans or anywhere else we’ve traveled!

Beautiful B&B in Bukhara. The location is excellent, in the old town, short walk to all of the sites, tone of restaurants near by. They arranged our transportation from the airport and to the train station. The room was amazing with a lot of space, sparkly clean, wifi was fast and breakfast was great. We were able to store our luggage there prior to and after check-in. Everyone at the property was very nice and helpfull. I would stay here again.

An amazing hotel, as befits a UNESCO heritage site. The bedroom was the largest single bedroom I’ve ever had in a hotel, I almost had to ask directions to the en-suite bathroom. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, just a few hundred metres from some of the main attractions in Bukhara.

This property is very conveniently located in a walking distance to everything. I think it’s a family run business and the owner is very active to facilitate all his guests needs from arranging transportation to find dining etc. I will recommend any one who is planning to visit Bukhara.

Tucked away in a quiet side alley just steps from Lyabi Khause Square, Alexia Hotel is a charming boutique property that strikes a thoughtful balance between luxurious comfort and personalized hospitality. The service has a warm, personal touch — staff always greeted me upon entering and said “have a good day” as I left. It’s the kind of genuine hospitality that makes a stay memorable. The hotel itself is housed in a beautiful historic building, with intricate tilework and the ancient Islamic architecture that brings the spirit of old Bukhara into your private space — all while offering modern amenities. My room was spacious and tastefully furnished, available in both one or two bed configurations. It featured a large desk, two comfortable armchairs, and a spacious bathroom equipped with both shower and a tub. The shower was clean and stocked with premium toiletries. The only downsides: the hotel is priced higher than average for Bukhara. Additionally, during my stay, the Wi-Fi went out for 3–4 hours due to construction next door, and cellular reception in the room was poor. Overall, Alexia Hotel remains an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, character, and personal service in the heart of Bukhara.

Beautiful Hotel in the Best Part of the City

It was a very nice hotel and it's very close to the tourist attractions and restaurants in the old city. You can easily walk in evenings to nearby attractions and dozens of restaurants very easily. Its the perfect location. Its very clean and well maintained and the whole staff from breakfast to reception to cleaning is wonderful and excellent in every way possible.

This is a stunning hotel with amazing staff who accommodated us with everything we needed. The location couldn’t get any better. We could walk everywhere and were close to great restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this beautifully renovated hotel with spacious rooms and modern amenities - the breakfast room is time travel to ancient Bukhara with stunning original art work
