The property was fine. There was a problem with getting back into the hotel at 10 pm at night. The door is always locked, there was nobody at the front desk to let us in. Meanwhile another 5 people arrived who wanted to check in, thankfully they knew somebody who stayed at the hotel, called him, so we got in after a 20 minute wait, otherwise we would have waited even longer!!!

We flew in on the red eye and the hotel was very accommodating as we came in to celebrate and kick off our honeymoon. Hotel is very clean, black out curtains were incredible. Hotel is located in the heart of Palermo Hollywood, walking distance to endless highly rated bars and restaurants. We would definitely repeat.

I loved having a face cloth . Honestly all hotels that use liquid soap should have face cloths . Frustrations were always having issues trying to shut the lights / fans off / on : the switches are just 😞. However the bottles of wine left made up for that . Thank you

Good Palermo Location with walkable amenities

The property is located in a very good area in Palermo near Palermo Soho with many walkable amenities such as restaurants and bars. Overall, the property was in good condition, but there is room for improvement. The property does not have a restaurant, so the breakfast is average and do not try the room service. Cleanliness is inconsistent, as it depends on who is cleaning the room. Wi-Fi in the room is not reliable, so for working, this hotel does not work. Overall, it is a good stay for a short trip - it offers the basic needs, but is not outstanding.

Incluso si se presenta algún inconveniente ellos hacen lo mejor para solucionarlo y hacerte sentir en casa. Disfrutamos mucho de los tours recomendados por el hotel y del Show de Tango La Ventana. El lugar y el servicio es magnífico, muy bien ubicado y las instalaciones agradables. Gustavo y Denisse estuvieron siempre pendientes de que nuestra experiencia fuera la mejor, incluso si un inconveniente se presenta ellos están siempre proactivos a solucionarlo. La comida muy rica en el hotel y el tango show en la ventana que reservamos a través del hotel fue espectacular!

My stay at the Ilum was fantastic! Hotel staff are very friendly and made my stay be a great experience! Very clean and beautiful decoration! Excellent location! Breakfast delicious and had a beautiful surprise for my birthday! Highly recommend!
