We spent two nights with the family in two rooms. It is indeed an old hotel, but very clean. Excellent and friendly staff and a good breakfast. But the most important thing is its location in the center of everything. If it were to undergo a major renovation, it would be the jewel in the crown.

It wasn’t really what I was expecting, old tvs, not really friendly waiter or waitress, the only friendly person I met was the chef while he was refilling the buffet.! Great old architecture, the walls in the rooms are dirty, not really even 4 star hotel.

The price was not high, but the photos on Hotels.com do not reflect reality. The facilities, especially the bathroom, show clear wear and lack of maintenance. This does not match a 5-star hotel, it feels closer to a 3-star experience. The staff, however, was very friendly and helpful.

This is not a 5 star hotel, maybe 3. A receptionist told us that the hotel is 80 years old and has been 5 star all this time. You will feel that 80 years, everything old and outdated. The location is good, everything nearby. Staff is good as well.
