Good evening Samuel, It was my first visit here at the Source Hilton in Buena Park. I arrived at 3:30 knowing the check in is at 4:00. However, when I tried to check in the front desk receptionist informed me that my room was not ready which I had to wait. I said okay I will wait. She asked my phone number so that she can let me know when it's ready. I said to her I will wait at the lobby and she said that's fine. As I was waiting at the lobby, it came close to 4'0 clock. And still no calls. I was looking at the check in front desk and there were 4 people and they were laughing and talking but no one was trying to contact me or inform me what the status was. So I walked up to front desk receptionist and asked carefully if my room was ready. They all looked at each and said they needed to check the room and see if it was ready. So I asked how long it would take to do that? And they all said, oh maybe another 10 minutes? At this point, I was little bit upset because I had a plan. I told all the front desk receptionist that I have a plan and I don't have another 10 minutes to wait. It was not a good experience with this hotel knowing that I watched the whole thing with the front desk. However, I did have a great time with my husband and my friends. Just letting you know that the front desk needs to accommodate with customer service so that they are taking care of. Thank you!

I know it is clearly spelled out on Hilton website but not on Expedia booking site that parking is not only for a fee but also VALET only. For multiple visits in and out of the hotel, you either deal with the awkwardness of not tipping, or be prepared to spend a lot more money than you wanted to. Rooms don't have microwaves. Bathroom has a frosted glass window that faces the main room. You can't see through it but light sure does shine right through it if you have to go while others are asleep. There is no laundry area, only dry clean service. Food is quite expensive (think airport prices) but the coffee is good. Heated outdoor pool on 4th floor is nice. Since it is a newish hotel, it is clean. It is connected on 1st floor to the adjacent 4-5 story K-pop themed mall. It is a 5 min walk to Target that has a Pizza Hut and Starbucks.

The rooms were super clean and well maintained. I hardly heard noise from other rooms. Staffs were very professional and courteous. The receptionist even went through a brief tour by walking to elevator. That was super impressive!! Recommend to all if you need to stay near.

We went for my husbands 40th and it was very clean and nice. The staff was overall great, but the bartender, he was AMAZING. He taught us so much about drinks and his cool unique recipes. We actually looked forward to seeing him every night. Not necessarily to drink, but he was great company. The only downside is that it would’ve been nice to know beforehand that parking is $25 per night additional to your reservation and that breakfast was crazy expensive. Like $8 for a tiny cup of cereal for our toddler. Besides that, it was good
