A fantastic large, very clean, well-equipped room in an excellent location. The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. We really enjoyed our holiday and would highly recommend TG Hotel Apartments as a place to stay for anyone visiting Budapest.

This will be an odd review as I actually was not able to get into the hotel because I didn’t receive the code. I was so furious - I sent a barrage of messages to the property and was not answered until the next morning. However when the did answer they were very gracious and issued a refund expeditiously. The customer service was excellent (,even though my request for the code to my room went unheard until it was too late). The staff is so friendly that even w the bad experience I would encourage people to give it a try IF they can get there prior to the reception office closing. Someone needs to be there just in case checkout goes awry.if you cannot make it by 4:30-5 pm (from your flight or whatever) I would suggest staying somewhere else because if something happens you’re on your own until service operationg hours.

The room was large and very livable. The staff, especially Evelin was super! Everything was just as described and Evelin went out of her way to assist us. We have already told several of our friends about the TG Hotel Apartment.

Great property around the corner from the St Stephen’s Basilica. Perfect for city exploration for short stays but also the fully equipped kitchen I’m sure would be great for long stays. Restaurants and chimney cake shops next to the hotel. A perfect base for us during our travel of Budapest.

Property located close to everything! Nice view to the basilica, but the location is too noise. The windows are not sound proof and you can hear every noise from outside, this is all night long until 4 to 5am. The bed mattress is harder then the floors. I would not recommend if you are willing to have a good night sleep.

When the AC unit was broken in our "basic" room they moved us into a new room. It's hard to know what exactly you're booking but I would not recommend a basic room..they have zero charm

LOCATION PERFECT Short walk from 100E Airport bus Deak Ferenc drop off point, stroll past Ferris wheel, pop in the grocery store to pick up food essentials en-route. Really not far to pull cabin cases. Near many restaurants (we loved Retek Bistro & Retek Mini (tiny cosy restaurant literally round the corner same block as apartment) for delicious Hungarian food with warm reception & our first taste of Palinka! Book ahead they were full. Sooo near to bus/tram/underground connections. Easy to get around with user friendly Budapest Go BKK app. 1 min walk to St Stephen’s Basilica, 5 min walk to famous Gerbeaud Cafe, 3 min walk to chain bridge to go over to Buda side right, 12 min walk to Parliament & Shoes on Jetty … I could go on. Just a very very convenient location as your base. MODERN & CLEAN Old building with spacious modern interior exactly as in the photos. (We booked Comfy room). Fairly quiet at night with shutter down considering being in busy area of city. Dark room (a must for me to sleep). One thing… Room was a bit warm for me (that’s With no heating on). But thankfully the over-bed fan circulated air and kept me cool enough. Otherwise I would have struggled. Key code entry easy. The mini reception is not 24/7. But we didn’t really need them for much as it’s an apartment stay and everything was ok for us. We stayed 4 nights. I’m quite a fussy person and can honesty say everything was great for me.
