It was my birthday and they gave me a great room and sent me a nice cake to the room. The breakfast has a lot of delicious options. The spa has a sauna and a jacuzzi and a swimming pool with amazing views of the city. It also has a steam room.

The staff was friendly and professional. We had an issue with the toilet leaking, and I informed the front desk on Sunday. The girl said she would send someone with more towels, so Im assuming she misunderstood what I was saying. They moved us to another room on Tuesday, because the leakage was causing issues on the floor below. I would have expected being moved to a nicer room because of the inconvenience, but the room they moved us to actually seemed smaller and was next to the elevator. Other than this incident, I have no complaints. The facilities around the pool, including the spa were exceptional , although the desk at the spa was unattended a lot of the time. We had to wait a few times to obtain towels, and we had to leave a note indicating our room number when we returned towels a couple times. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay there again.

As a world traveller, I constantly seek extraordinary value and excellence in product and service offerings. The Hotel Dann Carlton far exceeded my expectations, besting other properties I have stayed at in Colombia, Central America, and Mexico. The leadership organization has assembled an extraordinary team of friendly, skilled professionals dedicated to delivering on a "Customer First" mission. Furthermore, the property is impeccably well-maintained. The morning buffet is comprehensive and filled with local and foreign delights. You would see the evening menu in the finest Western World restaurants. And the flavours are rich, bold, and intriguing. I fully intend to return to Bucaramanga for a multi-week or month stay--for the hotel experience only. It's the perfect place for those who want to get away from it all, think, write, read, relax, . . . The hot tub, sauna, steam room, massage and facial services, and rooftop pool-bar-restaurant all add to the appeal. Finally, I know of no better value (the pricing was extraordinarily competitive. For example, the Medellin hotels I stayed in were more than double the price and of a lesser quality). Pamper yourself at the Hotel Dann Carlton because you are worth it.
