Was a Beautiful Building and Rooms. The Remodel was Done Excellent!!!!! We will go back again and Will Definitely Tell Others about The Kress Hotel. Was excellent location to stay and go to The Ritz Theatre for a Concert. Lots of Great Restaurants in walking distance l!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay, so much, that I booked an additional night. This was a birthday visit and the staff went above and beyond, even the staff at 1509 as well with a 15% discount on dinner as guests of the kress, free Rock climbing as a guest right next door to the Kress, first Friday celebration, brunch at Reid's Apothecary down the street, the farmers market at Mary Ross Park, shopping on Newcastle, enjoying one of the park areas near the hotel...I felt so very special. The Kress is my go to luxury hotel every year for my birthday!
