The place was very nice and clean. Host was there to meet us and she was really nice and made us feel at home and gave us some good tips on restaurants in the area. The place was within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants and not far from Harpers ferry or Antietam battlefield. Bed was comfortable and she also has a day bed to you can use. Nice fridge. The house was in the historic district and they did a great job with remodeling it. Would recommend a stay there. You can rent bikes across the street and ride to Harpers ferry about 6 miles away on the C&O canal and it’s all flat. We had a great stay there. There is a restaurant there within walking distance that had Greek/ Mediterranean/ Indian food that is really good. (Potomac street grill)

Anticipate train noise. We did, so we were prepared. Kim (host) is great! Very easy communication. Bike rental right across the street so renting and pedaling into Harper’s Ferry was perfect! This is an old railroad town with up and coming businesses. A nice secret place (for now).

I stayed 2 nights at the Cozy Getaway and it was exactly that—super nice, comfortable, and just as pictured. Perfect for 1–2 travelers, maybe even with one kiddo. Kimberly, the host, communicated well, was attentive, and very friendly. My favorite part was definitely the porch—it made the whole stay feel extra relaxing. The place was spotless, and the location is great with good food within walking distance.I’m almost hesitant to share how much I liked it because I definitely plan to come back!

Loved our stay at this cozy and very comfortable getaway! Kim responded to all my questions kindly and quickly and the apartment suited us to a tee! There were many thoughtful touches, ice already made in the freezer, a large water filter container in the fridge, condiments, coffee, tea, sugar, creamers, tissues, napkins, paper towels, plenty of towels including beach towels, just about everything you need to make yourself at home. Also, a big screen TV to unwind with Netflix at the end of the day! We stayed here as it was close to Harper's Ferry, the Potomac and the C&O tow path. Very convenient spot with a couple of restaurants just a few steps outside the door. Would definitely recommend!

Great Place near C and O

This is a great location right near the C&O and everything in Brunswick. I highly recommend it for traveling the towpath or a weekend escape. Check-in and communication was easy and they provided bike storage. I traveled alone, but it would be perfect for a couple or a family with young children.

This was a wonderful stay for a getaway weekend! The town itself is very cute, and has many shops and restaurants within walking distance (farthest we walked for anything was about four minutes), if not neighboring the apartment. In addition, the activities we booked in Harper's Ferry (Adventure Center) were a very easy 10 minute drive. The apartment is small and cozy, and a perfect home base to rest and get out of the heat (the AC units in each room were very effective and appreciated!). The big smart TV also made it easy to unwind at the end of the day. There were three of us, so this apartment was a perfect size. Listening to the trains rolling through was another unique treat, and added to the charming small town vibes. Lastly, the owners are very kind. As we were packing up the car, Kim came out to greet us, introduced us to her family, and we had a great conversation. All in all, a great stay and we will definitely come back for future trips!

Perfect location

The space and location was perfect for us after a float down the river. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It is close enough to the historical areas we wanted to visit but out of the congested areas. We will stay again if we are in the area.

Great stay!

I was visiting family and loved this apartment! It was in a great location close to all things downtown Brunswick. Could walk to restaurants, a brewery, bakery, and convenience store. The owner was so nice and we felt very welcome! Definitely be prepared to hear trains but luckily my kids loved watching them go by. Cute balcony area too. It was a super cute rental and we appreciated how there were a few kids toys and games to play with there already! Recommend!

Lives up to the name “cozy”

First of all, this place had the nicest bath towels of anyplace I have ever stayed! Very comfy and pleasant, and in a great location to explore the main street of Brunswick- antique shops, fabulous coffee shop and bakery, and a lovely art gallery. I plan on staying here again.

Train station next to lodging not mentioned in the description.

The train station is next to the property. This was not mentioned in the description. So trains are blasting their horns all night. In addition, it is in a part of town that is being rehabbed. Which means after hearing trains all night hammers and construction start at 7:00 in the morning. Also there is a sign that you must do the dishes before leaving. Then why do you have to pay a 50.00 cleaning fee?

Beautiful property

We actually did not get to stay overnight as we had an injury on the Appalachian trail, but prior to, we stopped in for a small break. The property is beautiful, clean, and truly cozy. There were toys for our small kids to play with, and it has everything you need for a nice stay.
