We booked a room for four people with a king-sized bed and a sofa bed. When we arrived, our room key didn’t work. We went back downstairs, but instead of giving us a new key, the front desk staff insisted it was fine and told us to try again. Unsurprisingly, it still didn’t work. We were eventually given a new key card, which worked once and then stopped working again. Fortunately, my husband and I didn’t leave the room at the same time after that since we had our two kids with us, so one of us could let the other back in. It was honestly easier than dealing with the rude front desk staff.
The sofa bed was dirty, and there were no pillows provided for it. When we asked for pillows, the front desk told us they didn’t have any extras. I was told I could speak with management the next day at noon — after check-out — which wasn’t helpful at all.
The bathroom was filthy, and a bright parking lot light shone directly into our room all night. The blackout blinds did little to block it.
Overall, the staff was rude and unhelpful, and the cleanliness and service were very disappointing.
