We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the VanBuren! Loved that we were on the first floor—near the breakfast buffet. Next time we’re in Shipshewana we plan on staying here again vs the other hotels in the “down town” area of Shipshewana. ❤️

The breakfast was still a real breakfast 30 minutes before the end of breakfast. It was a good breakfast. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was a good stay. It was nice to have a working pool.

the breakfast bar was adequate and well supported but there were two stations that were for waffles but no butter even on request the big one : I have no doubt you have heard this before the device to get the shower to shower is the most difficult and abstruse I ever encountered. That switching mechanism is difficult to the point of ridiculous
