The hotel was clean, the beds were comfy and the breakfast options are great. Whilst the staff are generally nice, one day when our room was cleaned, they didn’t replace the old towels with new towels. Also, the aircon in our room didn’t work the entire time that we were there (5 nights). The first night we had the aircon set to 21C (the lowest possible temp we could set it to, as it’s controlled by the hotel) but we woke up in the middle of the night as it was actually 28C in the room (whilst it was probably only around 16C outside!). We raised this immediately with the front desk the next morning, they sent maintenance in and they said there was nothing wrong with the aircon. This happened several nights in a row, before we just turned the aircon off, and opened the window during the night. However, the area outside the hotel is unfortunately quite loud at night; aircon units, nightlife etc.

Nice stay

Good stay, nice new room and quiet on 6th floor room round back. Comfortable rooms. Room slightly on the small side. Could check in early, dinner service a little chaotic - teething problems probably as the hotel looks very new. Would stay again.

Superb hotel. Very comfortable

The location is absolutely superb very central near the beach near the shops. They had everything going on. The staff was super friendly upon arrival and checking in very easy inconvenient with a great create your own key card option. The room was fantastic. We had a deluxe family room with plenty of space comfortable beds. The only criticism would be that there is very little storage just a tiny little alcove space and space to hang clothes. There’s so much space in the room. It seemed a little bit strange not to have included Storage options.

Perfectly fine but could have been really good

The hotel was nice - modern and well located. Great beds, good sound proofing. I reported a problem with the shower and it was fixed that evening. Staff in bar were lovely and George the operations manager was really great. Breakfast was nice, with lots of options - an impressive selection of dairy-free milks and gluten-free items for people who needed them - not us, but good to know everyone was catered for. However, there were a few things that stopped weren’t so great. The receptionist at check-in was not hugely friendly - seemed distracted and slightly annoyed, although the other ones were l lovely. The air con (we stayed specifically because the hotel had air con) was set so you couldn’t lower it that much. Consequently I think it would have been cooler with a window open. Also, housekeeping was a bit sketchy - they forgot to fill up tea/coffee supplies, didn’t take out used cups etc and although towels were replaced, ones in the floor were not removed. There was an issue with running out of bottled water in rooms but this was left to reception to deal with if guests asked about it. It would have made sense to have left something in the room explaining the situation and apologising. So overall, it was fine/good rather than good/great, which is what we had been expecting.
