Poor service. Poor communication.

Booked a weekend in Brighton via Hotels.com (with TravelStaytion and Host & Stay involved), only to find out on arrival that the property had been double booked — despite multiple calls beforehand where no one mentioned this. I was left waiting over an hour while trying to get answers. Eventually, one representative even refused to speak to me, and another person informed me no alternative accommodation could be arranged. When I suggested they cover a new booking, they refused. The entire process was chaotic, communication was awful, and the customer service was shockingly poor. Completely ruined my weekend. Would strongly caution others before booking through this platform.
Stayed 2 nights in Aug 2025
