Lovely friendly team and excellent service. Food excellent. Room was spacious and well equipped. Perfectly located right in the town centre and lots of other local attractions easily accessible.
We really enjoyed our stay. Ot was a great family room which had the kids room attached with door between and was great because of that. I felt very safe here which is important due to my anxiety. There is a coutyard outside our window but notices it was closed at 10 so was great and not noisy. We had Dyson fans in our room which helped with the heat as it was summertime. All staff were very frkendly and professional.
Booked for a short break. Comfortable, well supplied bedroom, excellent restaurant with good food and service. Unexpectedly great breakfast menu. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Would stay again.
Beds & room very comfortable. Food is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room has some minor repairs that need doing (trim below window; window blind; shaver socket needs replacing) but generally in good condition.
Very good service. Staff were excellent. The room we had was small but adequate.
Very good choices for breakfast and we hand an excellent English breakfast.
Evening menu good and first dined in and food was good with excellent service
Lovely stay at The Bull which was made all the better by the excellent customer service. All staff were really helpful and friendly. Great location right in the heart of Bridport with parking at the rear. Breakfasts were amazing. Will definitely stay again. Thank you 😃

Welcoming, helpful staff, room was very well equipped, could have done with a little drinks fridge.Sheltered courtyard was a bonus and free parking.Food was very good.
We were very impressed by all the staff we encountered during our stay. We stayed for one night in Room 110 which was a good size with lots of character. A few of things let it down, the mattress too saggy, the shower seal not great so the bathmat became sodden very quickly and the coffee machine wouldn’t work. However, we really enjoyed our stay and would book again.
We stayed in the deluxe double room and it was beautiful! Hotel was great location for exploring Dorset. Breakfast was perfect and we had dinner there the first night which was excellent. Staff all friendly, helpful. Courtyard garden was lovely. Catered for my gluten intolerance. Would highly recommend
The hotel is lovely and cozy. Our room had some unique features, including a window in the bathroom that overlooks the bedroom. In the evening, we enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar, which also offered games to play. This made it a wonderful place for a family stay. Thank you very much!
Liked the whole vibe of the hotel. Sat in the lovely courtyard to have our lovely lunch (good choice of veggie options) pre- booking in. Excellent service from the staff, particularly Jack. Very easy check in, with room ready early. Bed was comfortable and shower facility was grand. Nice selection of teas and coffee in room with lovely shortbread. Altogether a very pleasant stay, with breakfast included

Liked the history and originality. Welcoming, happy, helpful. Lovely breakfasts with plenty of choice. Good size bedroom, but outside plant coming in the bathroom window. Would have liked instructions for coffee machine. Good instructions to get to the car park round the back. No lift (because of age of the building). but stairs could be challenging for any with severe mobility problems.
We were given room 108, which was hot like a furnace as I understand it’s above the kitchen. I couldn’t sleep for two nights in a row because of the heat. What was best in this hotel was its staff. However, on the last day, we preebooked a table by the window for four guests and were moved into a cramped space at the back of the room. The rooms we were in also were in great need of an update.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Our rooms badly needed an upgrade. One of our rooms was 108, which was above the kitchen and was so not we could hardly sleep. Most rooms overlook the patio area, which can be noisy, and most rooms are overlooked by the rooms on the opposite side.
Lovely hotel for our 1 night stay. Friendly welcoming staff made it special. Great breakfast, lots of options including my favourite avocado on sourdough. Yes a little noisy at night due to being located on a busy street, but lovely room with an unexpected 4 poster bed and free standing bath. Perfect base for exploring the area. We walked 2 miles to West Bay and drove to Lyme Regis. Would have liked to enjoy a drink in the courtyard garden under the wisteria as it looked beautiful but time was against us. Market right outside on Saturday morning was great for fresh fruit, veg and plants. Hotel parking was very useful.
