The stay was good the dining was great only thing that I didn’t like was they didn’t clean the room and bring new clean towels and take the old ones alway when you stay for a couple nights even when you put the clean room sign on the door.

The 'NO FUN" Casino

I have never stayed in a place where there were so many rules - from the moment we walked thru the door and greeted by a very rude check in person- there was a line of ppl waiting to check in and she hollers out "just so everyone knows we are charging an early check in fee of $31.00 because check in isn't for another 44 mins" which as long as I've travelled places I've been never encountered especially if the room is ready- getting into the casino is as close to going through TSA at an airport that you can get. Someone in our group was under 35 and was required to show not only her ID but a credit card as a second form of ID?? When you order a drink at the bar you are informed that they follow some guideline from Churchill Downs that says you can only have one drink every 30 minutes and they actually timed it...which again is BS- bottom line is if you're not there to gamble it is not the place to stay- We were a large group attending a wedding and had no real other options in that area but it was terrible accommodations and staff need a MAJOR course in customer service-

The property is nice. The room was huge and clean. We arrived early and I asked the lady at the desk about an early check in. We checked in on a Monday so I thought we might be able to get in early. She informed us that if we wanted earlier check in we would have to pay an extra $30 plus tax. I’ve traveled a lot and have never been told I’d needed to pay extra for check in. We agreed to pay the extra and than was told we’d need to wait. She was not very pleasant in her approach and acted like we were putting her out by even asking. We decided to grab something to eat and come back. We got back an hour before official check in and there was someone different on the desk. We asked if we could check in early and she said “ of course”. Big difference in attitude.

it was the worst getaway that we have ever had. It was bad from start to finish all over us booking the wrong room by mistake and they would not switch it in the hotel was half full that night, and we had no help whatsoever from Hotels.com, which we have used to people very often, but we will not ever again.

Don’t stay here

This was my second time staying here and it will be my last. From loud drunk guests in the hallway at 3 am, to ridiculous policies in the pub, I would NOT recommend staying here. They have a ONE beer every 30 minutes policy. I had a very long day at work, came back to the hotel to have dinner and my ONE beer. I took my beer koozie to put on my can to keep my 30 minute beer cold and got thrown out by security half way through my meal because I had my koozie on my can. Everyone else in the pub laughed and clapped as I pointed out to security that my koozie posed no threat to anyone whatsoever. My beer came from the bartender, so I wasn’t trying to hide anything illegal. So again, loud, obnoxious guests in the middle of the night and ridiculous policies regarding a simple beer after a long hard day. RIDICULOUS
