The host was excellent. She was open to questions and went beyond to help us with taking the bus. She supplied us with a food basket that was filled with basic necessities and wonderful caribean treats. There was no air-conditioning but the 2 fans helped us tremendously.

The kitchen had everthing I needed. Wifi was excellent. Tv had netflex, prime vidio, etc.etc. Bed was comfortable. There was no air condition but host provided 2 fans which good for me. Bus stop right at your door. You can catch a bus to most everywhere on the island. There's a convenience store a couple of houses down but would have to catch a bus to a grocery store. Not real close to a beach but able to catch a bus that goes right pass beaches. I found area safe. Host was great and addressed my concerns quickly and satisfactory. Would definitely stay here again.

Small Cozy basement apartment

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this small cozy apartment. It was affordable for our budget and we enjoyed the experience of staying in an apartment in Barbados. The walls are popcorn texture so it holds dust more than a regular smooth wall. There were two fans supplied which helped keep the bedroom and living room cool, but there were days we would have preferred A/C. The bathroom isn't ventilated so you have to keep the small window open to prevent mold accumulation. And keep the bathroom door open. That was a disadvantage to being in the basement. There was a washing machine, but no dryer. All clothes had to go on a clothes line, and clothing pins were provided. All issues we had was addressed and fix by the host. We were able to walk to the beach, Bridgetown market, and take the bus. Love having a kitchen so that we could cook! Kim was very nice and helpful in assisting us in getting around. Overall the experience was excellent for the price paid!
