The nearest beach, Strandbad Bregenz, where you can bask in the sun and take refreshing swims in the midst of a wonderful mountain panorama, is 1 km or a 12-minute walk away, next to the “Festspielhaus”. Bregenz is famous for its many cultural offerings, such as the “Bregenzer Festspiele”, and after 30 km or a 35-minute drive from the apartment, you will get to the skiing areas Pfänderbahn, Alberschwende, Bödele and several others. The scenic mountainous area also offers great hiking routes and is perfect for cycling trips along the lakeshores. The island Lindau, with its charming old town centre is a 20-minute (17.5 km) from Bregenz, across the German border, and St. Gallen in Switzerland can be reached by car in 40 minutes (38 km). The tiny nation of Liechtenstein is located a 50-minute drive (55 km) south of Bregenz.
