River Mountain Lodge is one of Breckenridge’s most convenient locations. Guests enjoy direct ski-in access from the Four O’Clock Run, and the BreckConnect Gondola is just a short walk away. The Breckenridge Free Ride shuttle stops right outside the complex, making it easy to reach any base area. When the day winds down, Main Street’s restaurants and shops are just a block away. The place was great -- clean, well-equipped and well-furnished. We loved having a private hot tub and the quick walk to downtown. Our only complaint is that it's advertised as ski in-ski out, but it's only ski out. You need to take a shuttle to a lift or walk down the road 10 minutes to get to the gondola, a walk that feels kind of long in ski boots.

The property is beautiful. It’s steps away from Main Street. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Just bring your own cup. The only downside was lack of hot water in the sinks. The showers had plenty of hot water. The personal hot tub was amazing! However there’s some mold on the hot tub. Cover.

Great stay - minutes from downtown

My now-husband and I enjoyed our stay here. We got married in Breckenridge and took some getting-ready photos here that will be truly beautiful. The location to downtown can't be beat - we were less than a five minute walk from the main road. However, check-in was a bit messy. Because you're renting through a third-party, communication was a bit hairy. We would ask the representative at the front desk something and they wouldn't be able to answer because the unit was rented through a different company and it was sometimes unclear which number we should call/text to speak with someone. If I were to stay here again, I would either go through Summit Rental directly or River Mountain Lodge (where the property was located). Using VRBO added another level of communication that made everything more complicated in the end. That being said, we loved our stay and, if we're ever in the area again, we would certainly consider staying here.

Our stay within your property was wonderful. As soon as we opened the door, we knew we had chosen the correct place. It was as it was pictured on the VRBO website. Everything the beds the room placement all of it was just as described. The one thing that stood out the most for me was the cleanliness. I have anxiety pertaining to cleanliness when I am on vacation, and this lived up to my expectations. I was able to walk without socks on and that is something I never do. It is beautifully decorated, and the price was very affordable for this time of year. It was very easy to find and check in was very easy. We are usually in the area every couple of years I hope it is still on the market to reserve. Thank you for reducing some of my anxiety and allowing me to actually relax knowing I was in a clean comfortable place. Also, the hot tub was amazing, and we utilized the fireplace. Thank you I hope we left it with no issues we tried to keep it as we found it!
