About 1/2 mile from downtown Breckenridge and the gondola, the Elkhorn Lodge is a breathtaking 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom, private home that comfortably hosts up to 12 guests. The lodge offers you and your guests plenty of privacy, space and the most gorgeous mountain views you can imagine.

The home features beautifully furnished rooms with soaring vaulted ceilings, a spacious and well equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, two living areas, a heated garage, a bonus den, play set for kids, three decks, two fireplaces and a private hot tub. There are two master king suites on the upper level, a king bedroom on the upper level, two XL-twin bedroom and a king bedroom in the basement.

We invite you to imagine yourself among friends and family, enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal before relaxing in front of a warm fire in one of the two living areas or soaking in the beautiful hot tub after a big day of mountain activities. Guests will enjoy 1200Mbps Internet, access Smart TV options on most TVs and an AppleTV. Start all over the next day with breakfast made from the spacious kitchen or enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck while taking in the views of Peak 6.

Our home is perfectly fit for large families or multiple families. The home was designed to allow guests to connect together in one space, or separate into groups in other rooms of the home.

This home was perfect for our large family! Spacious, comfortable, and welcoming, it had everything we needed to cook big meals, play games, and spend meaningful time together. The layout allowed the adults to visit while the kids had their own place to play, and the outdoor setting was absolutely beautiful - Mountain View’s, hot tub, play-set and sleds for kids, and we even saw a moose walk right through the yard! The location was ideal. We felt tucked away, surrounded by trees and wildlife, but only a few minutes to the gondola and all of the restaurants/shops.If you are looking for a place to reconnect as a family and slow down from the business of life, this is it. We made memories here that we will forever treasure.

House is big and will accommodate many people. Host was great to work with. House had everything we needed. The home is a little farther from downtown Breckenridge than I expected. Definitely not walking distance. Overall a good place.

The host was wonderful, and the house was absolutely amazing. It was beautifully decorated, and every room and bathroom had everything we needed, including a the kitchen which had everything you need to cook and some extra stuff in the pantry. There were plenty of games and even sleds in the garage, which made our stay even more fun. The house had lots of space, both indoors and outdoors. We stayed in the middle of December and had such a great time. All six rooms were cozy, spacious, and comfortable. I would 100% stay here again.

Perfect for Families

This was the PERFECT property for our weekend getaway with 2 other families. We all had plenty of personal space and kid space-the backyard playground, hot tub and 2 living areas was ideal. Well appointed fabulous house for a large group

The house accommodates a large group and had everything we needed. Girls’ trip for a 50th birthday and we were able to eat delicious food at the house and then relax in the hot tub. Kitchen is FULLY stocked and there are 2 living rooms which are perfect for families. Jason was super responsive and a wonderful host. Will definitely come back as Breckenridge is also wonderful

Great Stay in Breck

We enjoyed our stay in Breckenridge. The unit was clean, quiet, and as advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub too! Plenty of storage for our gear and we had fun playing the games that were provided in the unit as well.

Great place to stay and ski

There was plenty of room for our big group and we had a blast skiing first chair to close everyday. When we got back to the house it was like coming back to our own cozy home. Plenty of kitchen equipment to make family meals every night, lots of space and comfortable beds. Really enjoyed our long weekend in this house.

Great House! Great Location!

This house has everything for all ages! Even though is was a group of parents we noticed it was a kid friendly home. Perfect amount of space for all of house and wasn't a terrible drive into town for someone that came from no snow ever. If your looking for a great spot choose this one. Everyone asked me to save this house for upcoming trips.

Fantastic stay in Breck!

What a great place to stay at in Breck. We were closer to town and everything. Skiing was super fun and the house accommodated all our gear really well! It was so nice after a long day of skiing to come back and relax at the house, hot tub, ext. I only wished we stayed longer!!! Thanks so much for a great stay

Fantastic Breck New Years Getaway

The home was perfect for our New Years vacation with 12 of us. We had 2 families which included 8 teen/college cousins and the space and home was just perfect. The 2 family rooms allowed everyone space to separate when needed and plenty of space to gather for meals and celebrations. The oversized dining room was the location of fun games and gatherings with all of us. Kitchen was never crowded and had just enough amenities to keep everyone happy. Bathrooms are updated just right. The heated garage was superb as the temperatures plunged at night and the snow kept coming and coming. Close to the mountain. Skiers / Riders can reserve parking on the hill thru Breck park apps. Overall wonderful time. We would definitely rent this one again. Thanks for letting us share your home !!!

Best VRBO Rental!

I rent from VRBO quite often when we are headed somewhere. This time we were going to Breckenridge Colorado for a Christmas get away. We had 7 adults and 4 children between the ages of 3-8. This was the best place for a group this size. There was plenty of room for all, even toys for the kids! The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was decorated wonderfully. Very laid back and really gave you a feel of a mountain cabin. The owners were great to work with. I had several questions before we went and they answered quickly each time. This was the easiest rental I have ever done through VRBO. I always try to give the negative along with the positive but I really don't have anything negative to say! Thanks for the great memories and for being so great to work with Jason and Derek! If you haven't guessed by now I highly recommend this rental!
